- We had the joy of spending 3 days in what I now consider the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. If you are looking for an extra-ordinary option in the Dolomites look no further! We were so thankful to have been upgraded to their luxury chalet that has the most amazing view overlooking mountains and trees with even a daybed hanging from the pation ceiling where one can read and relax! The food was of high quality and the breakfast buffet so expansive that it will fill you up for the entire day. At dinner we were served by profesional and very friendly waiters and one had the choice from 3 differeny menus. The heated pool and hot tubs were wonderful to enjoy after a day out. Another plus is the free buspass that enables one to catch the bus right in front of the hotel to nearby Ortisei and other places. The hotel also have deals with some E-bike and hiking companies for their guests to sign up for free. One feel pampered at this hotel and we cannot wait to return again soon!!
- Hotel Albion’s location is fantastic, halfway between Ortisei and Castelrotto. The hotel is elegant and excellently appointed, exuding class and beauty without pretentiousness. The personnel is amazing, cordial and welcoming, the food is first class and the service always impeccable. A real gem.
- Amazing facilities, so much variety. Very cozy. We loved the food variety, the views ( wow!) , the staff, many well thought corners of the hotel, all delightful
Cons -
- There was nothing we did not like.
- Everything was amazing nothing bad
- We came in the hot days and found out there’s no AC in the hotel. The hotel staff provided us a fan, which we turn on for the entire night. But since there’s no screen (prevents the bugs to come in) on the window, we had to close the windows all night, which made the indoor lack of ventilation. This is the only drawback of our stay.

Food is fabulous! You won’t go wrong with any dishes! The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

We had a chalet with panoramic windows and a huge porch and we loved it.The breakfast was wonderful and the hotel offers free hiking and biking tours .The location is 10 minutes or so away from the center but the hotel offers a free bus pass and shuttles so it worked great for us.
This hotel is top class, deserves more than 10/10Small details attention, everything is perfect, amazing view and location, amazing SPA, amazing heated pools, lots of saunas..
Nothing, only one small comment, there is table in rhe restaurant reserved for every room that it will be for you all your stay and you can’t change it.It is ok for making order, but, its nice to change each day to see other people and other view. Still i will rate the hotel 11/10
Spa, Wellness Center, Lobby, Sauna, Leisure activities rooms, Apples and Tea in the spa. Amazing! Table Tennis, Billiard room, Ski room, Food was 11/10 in the restaurant, such a tasty and various breakfast, we ate so much! Wonderful! Amazing! Astonishing!
Everything was super, besides the fact my husband had forgotten his toothbrush and paste (as always) and these were not left in the bathroom by the hotel:) This is a small and cheap benefit you can add, it will help a lot, especially to mankind:) Also, an subjective opinion, the pillows on the bed were too hard for my liking. This is everything, I think and just a small advice- the waiters are all wonderful, young, powerful and charming men and boys (which to be honest caught my eye hihi), however, not a single female waiter works there, so you can maybe add one or two ladies, for the feminist part of our community:) Thank you!
Very good foodNice anf very helpful staffVery good spaNice och very useful activities
Beautiful, family run hotel. The attention to small details was impressive. The staff, both family members and others, were all so friendly, attentive and helpful. The catering was excellent and the wider facilities in the hotel were very good.
Nothing. This hotel is excellent and very comfortable.
The hotel is fantastic. The food was amazing. We really enjoyed the spa. We chose this hotel because of the guided walks and bike rides that were included in the stay
Everything was nearly perfect. The only slight negative was that the walking guide didn't speak English and we don't speak other languages. The guides who took us on bike tours spoke excellent English.
Property was wonderful; location is so pretty with THe BEST VIEW and the kids had a blast also with the zip line and the pool.Restaurant was pretty good also. Loved the Hugo!
The room didn’t have air conditioner so it got hot pretty soon. Housekeeper was able to provide us with a fan that helped a lot. She did say also that there’s another section of the hotel with new rooms that have air conditioning so ai would suggest you make sure to request when booking
Service minded personnel, Spa facilities, guided activities and food.
This hotel is a real gem - comfortable, clean, surrounded by nature, with beautiful views and far from the crowded touristic centers. It has a professional staff, heated water pool, spa area etc. The food was excellent. And our waitress Rosie is a real star! :)
There was nothing to wish more
Loved everything about it. We stayed at the Junior Suite Anika and the views from the balcony were 100 even when slightly rainy. Room was spacious, clean, had a large wardrobe, sit-down area and bathroom, and incredibly comfortable beds. Dinner/ breakfast was amazing and had unbelievable selection - wait staff were incredibly friendly too. Spa pools were heaven after a day of hiking, they were heated even on the outside which allowed you to enjoy the surrounding views. Everything was well thought out - they even had tote bags with towels/ slippers in there so it was super convenient to head to the pool/ spa.
Can't say there was anything i didnt like....
Gorgeous setting in the quiet valley, with views of the Dolomites from our room. I loved the pool after a long morning of hiking. The breakfast and dinners were AMAZING! I would definitely recommend this resort stay.
A nice hote!, the staff were really nice, the room had a great view! The spa area was really good.
Breakfast was good enough, but the dinner was not as good. They served small sized meals and the buffe was not as tasty as the rest of the places we have been.
Hotel very scenic view, friendly staff and delicious half board cousins.
The location was gorgeous, the staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was amazing. The indoor/outdoor pool was an exceptional experience.
I would have enjoyed the hotel restaurant more if it were a la carte.
It is nice hotel! The view is breathtaking! Breakfast is really good and they offer variety of food. I like mountains so location is great for me. They offer free bus tickets to go to town center.
Here is the thing, once they give you a table for breakfast of dinner. You will be stuck with this table forever!!! Dinner, lunch or breakfast and you CANNOT change it. The lady at reception said this is a rule and our customers liked it. I’m a customer and really I hate to eat day and night with the same table especially if your table it located in the worst location. What a strange rule!
The location, the way they have renovated and expanded the facilities. You just feel at home. The staff is very friendly and the best thing is definitely the view.
There is nothing to say, just a minor thing with the window in the bathroom but this wasn’t any issue.
