Pros +
- LOVED all of it. From check-in, to aperitifs, to dinner (AMAZING), to the sauna and eucalyptus shower after a long hike (make time for it), this place was wonderful. I highly recommend anyone to stay (especially couples). The walk from the main touristy area to the hotel is no more than 10 minutes. In a very quiet area with wonderful views from the room. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Hint: make friends with the bartender and do dinner at the hotel more than just one night. Would 10/10 stay again!!
- Location was perfect. Stayed there for 7 days and didn't have to take the car out. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The staff was amazing, especially Matteo, who answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here.
- The friendly staff treat their guests as family. Everyone is so helpful, genuinely welcoming and eager to insure an exceptional vacation for all the guests.
Cons -
- There wasn't enough diversity in the menu options for dinner. My wife and I are picky eaters so it could be just us! If I had to make any comments about this hotel that I would have liked different is the menu.
- The views from the hotel are spectacular. Breakfasts and dinners are varied, delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was large, clean and extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t change anything.
- I would like to share feedback regarding our recent stay at The Grones Hotel, where my family and I spent three nights. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing for several reasons:•Unprofessional Conduct: The hotel management and staff demonstrated rude and unwelcoming behavior throughout our stay.•Poor Guest Treatment: We observed a generally cheap and dismissive attitude in how guests were treated. This was especially evident when the hotel insisted on retrieving the reusable plastic room keys upon checkout in an unnecessarily strict manner.•Discriminatory Attitude: We felt that the staff’s behavior was marked by stereotyping and a lack of cultural sensitivity, which made us feel unwelcome.•Breakfast Experience: The breakfast offering was limited both in quantity and variety, and felt inadequate for a hotel of this category.•Rigid Dining Policies: Guests were not given the freedom to choose their seating during meals; instead, seating was pre-assigned, limiting comfort and flexibility.•Unresponsive Front Desk: Repeated attempts to reach the reception via phone were unsuccessful, indicating a lack of attentiveness to guest needs.Overall, this was a regrettable experience that did not reflect the value we paid for, and we hope that future guests are treated with greater respect and professionalism.

Top notch facilities , delicious food, friendly staff
Everything was perfect. The location is amazing, views from the rooms are incredible, rooms were really good size, food at the property was delicious we ended up eating there most of the evenings. The staff is incredible and they really understand what true hospitality is. I hope to be back next year!
The location, the amenities, the restaurant food. It was such a comfortable stay.
The hotel was gorgeous. The breakfasts were amazing and such stunning views from the dining room and the balcony. The staff were really friendly and attentive. It was a great location for us to base ourselves for day hikes in the area.
The view location is great
The hotel doesn’t provide a shuttle, the room is old The policy in dining area, the table are selected by the room and names, the table might be far from the window.
Lovely family-run hotel in a good location only a short walk from the centre of town. Nice-sized room with a good comfortable bed. Really delicious breakfast with lots of choice, and the set menu for dinner each night was also delicious - we hadn't booked half board but ended up eating each night at the hotel anyway as the food was so good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna and swimming pool were also good.
Room was great. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Beautiful view.
Nothing. Gave us extra pillow on request and adapter plugs for chargers.
Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very helpful and attentive staff. Room was pristine and well-maintained.
Nothing. We’ll definitely come back.
Very central, close to the cable cars. Also has a huge garage if you’re renting a car. Breakfast is also superb. I’m gluten free and I had plenty to choose from.
Staff are very nice and helpful Rooms are clean Bathroom is just perfect
Sometimes it’s hot and no air conditioning was available, but at night it becomes cool
The location was great. They have a good breakfast. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional food and value dinner. Beautiful location. Staff outstanding, friendly and always interesting their customers.
Needs air conditioning or at least a room fan in the summer, otherwise really perfect and we would love to return.
Amazing place, beautiful views. The balcony was lovely, I couldn't get my husband off it! The hotel staff were brilliant, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location is perfect too, high up in the town for the views, but very quick to get into the centre of town as well.
Nothing!
Beautiful view, close to lifts and town center. Wonderful, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner
dinner was delicious, perfect location, a short walk to both Seceda and Alp di Siusi cable car.
