    Pros +

    • Fantastic location and super friendly staff. Very accommodating for pets, very dog friendly hotel. Views of the Dolomites from hotel are incredible! Less than 10 minute walk to the village and gondola.
    • We had an amazing stay at Alpenheim! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was so lovely. Our room was very spacious and had a great view of the mountains. The spa and pool area were perfect and very relaxing. The breakfast each morning was also great and had a wide variety of food to choose from! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the Seceda cable car so it was very convenient to get to our hikes as well. Would definitely stay here again!
    • Room was spacious with great view. Facilities all good…restaurant dinner and breakfast, pool, parking everything. Matilda on reception was a star and very welcoming and helpful.

    Cons -

    • Nothing ... outstanding, family owned hotel.
    • Just a bit of a walk to town centre and cable car but not a real issue.
    • Expensive for value received. Unreliable plumbing. The toilet would keep running, even after two notifications to management. The shower had unpredictable swings in temperature. The location is on the fringe of town and quite a steep walk to return to the hotel. We will not stay here again.

Nice view of the town from our room.

We loved the pool, the breakfast, and the daily snack time. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The bathroom only had a tub and now shower.

    9NicolePosted on: 7-9-2025

The location is really walkable to the restaurants and old town but is quiet. The amenities were lovely and the room was really clean. Breakfast was a standout.

The room had a strange sloped ceiling that we hit our head on many times.

Beautiful hotel and spa. Amazing view of the town from above, loved the pool that overlooks the town and mountains as well. There is a nice 10 minute trail right off the property that takes you into the center of town as well as the cable cars to Seceda and Alpe di Suisi. Modern and clean with a very nice bar and dining area, nice outdoor patio area as well. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was also very nice.

There were many black ants in our room.

Large room with a comfortable bed, great food and nice location

    Parking can be difficult

The location was beautiful. We loved the amenities, including the heated pool and relaxing pool area. The breakfast and dinner were also excellent as were the staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations.

    Nothing. It was fantastic.

The only staff who were more or less client oriented were the waiters in the restaurant. This seems to be the only “pro”

Overall level of service closer to a 3-star hotel. Be prepared to have a feeling that you are there for the hotel management and staff and not vise a versa, when they are there for the client (how it should be).“Contras” or what will spoil your vacation:1. The amount of light switched in the room is huge - no common logic of how they all work so you will need to take your card out to turn off the light. Otherwise you will be sleeping with a few lamps on2. In case you want to/ have to go skiing later than 12 - NO driver is there to take you with your skis and boots to the mountain. You will have to carry it all yourself because the driver has siesta until 2:30 or 3pm. No one cares that you paid money and this service e was included3. In case you have a zoom or similar vcr in the morning - room cleaning will be knocking in your door every 15 min and trying to turn off the light (the latter looked pretty shocking). Again because you need to fit into their schedule and not vise a versa.4. No pens and paper to make notes in the room5. No instructions on how the telephone works, in case you have a question, be prepared to walk to the reception.6. Any late checkout costs money, even if it is +1 hour and no guests are expected to move into your room. So you will be kicked out at 11am sharp7. Dirty plates at breakfast8. Dirty and old furniture

In general, the place itself is wonderful. The nature around is amazing. The hotel itself is remote from the centre, but if you go down to the garage, turn right and go straight on the path you can come to the escalator, which rises on Seceda and near the same descends to the city centre. Unfortunately, we got the impression that the staff is not interested in the guests at all. There was never anyone at the reception. It is not clear how the spa complex works and how to get a massage. There was never anyone there either during our 3 days stay. The spa complex itself is not bad. Hamam and sauna, pool seemed quite cool outside. My advice would be: at the booking stage, ask how you can book massages. There are only 2 rooms and 1 VIP for two people. The breakfasts are excellent. The coffee is delicious. Garage and car park available. It is better to find out in advance where you can have dinner and book a table. The room itself is compact but has everything you need, the bed is comfortable. The linen is fresh. Cleaning every day.

When you don't have a lot of time, you want to make the most of it. The approach - here's an app you can deal with on your own - doesn't always work.

.We upgraded to a room with a bath (the supplement was more than we expected) but the room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A veey good selection at breakfast

The door handle was very loose to our room, we had to push hard to enter the room - its not what one expects with a superior room price tag

Staff were excellent, if we had any questions they would help us out. Food, all meals where outstanding & a great variety of foods. A BIG THANK YOU to Carol for you help - your brilliant !!!!

Having to leave, having to checkout - I'll miss the place...

A lovely place. 5 minutes walk round town. Pool was nice. No AC but it cooled off at night. Great breakfast.

Exceptional location a 10 minute walk from town. Incredible views. Quiet and relaxing after a day exploring the mountain tops. Excellent facilities. The pool area is immaculate. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff who were genuinely interested in our wellbeing. Our room and all public places spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

All was perfect. Just know there's no air conditioning but the nights were cool enough to enjoy the fresh air from an open window

Breakfast was great, the pool and sauna, the views and staff were all amazing. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the funiculars for Seceda and Alpe di Suisi.

More on us as we missed it but there wasn’t really air conditioning in the room so it was a bit warm during the day. It was fine in the evenings when it was cooler.

This hotel was a lovely sanctuary in the mountains. We stayed in summer and it was a perfect stroll down to the village. Max 10 min walk. The facilities were great. The pool and spa area were perfect after a full day of hiking. They also organised some free activities during the week which I’d recommend doing.

We didn’t do Board. But the food seemed very simple. The wine list wasn’t that extensive but manageable.

This property exceeded our expectations, the team, the food, location and services were all fantastic. Just a short walk to some key chairlifts that take you to Alpe di Suis and Seceda Ridge and so nice to come back to the beautiful pool and spa facilities after a big day of exploring. Thank you ?

Very homely with lovely view. Nice pool.

    No bar at the pool.
