Pros +
- Beautiful facility
- The bed was very comfortable, the room nicely furnished and spacious. The ground floor rooms have an outside seating area. The surrounding is quiet and lovely, far away from the noises of city life. The swimming pool and whirlpool are great, also very clean.
- Room was nice very big and clean. We played pool a few times sadly it is 1euro per game.
Cons -
- I have just checked out and feel compelled to warn others. The front desk staff were astonishingly rude and unprofessional. Upon checkout, I was confronted and asked to leave after objecting to being charged for a second person for the night—something that was never mentioned at booking, check-in, or at any point during our stay. The explanation? They claimed to have “camera proof.”I found this deeply disturbing. Being told that I was monitored via cameras to justify an extra charge—without any prior disclosure or clarity around pricing—felt invasive and violating. This is not how guests should be treated, especially when no rules or costs were communicated upfront. The poor attitude didn’t stop there. The bar staff on the morning of the 24th were equally rude. We stayed in rooms 141 and 33, and at no point did anyone attempt to show basic hospitality. In one particularly absurd moment, we were not allowed to bring items to our room unless we first paid for two coffees, with the explanation that “they could not take the risk if everyone did this.” An unbelievable stance for a hotel that claims to offer service. To make matters worse, this property overlooks a massive chemical plant—yes, literally an industrial chemical facility dominating the view. This is not disclosed and is the opposite of what one would expect when booking a supposedly charming or relaxing stay.Between the hostile staff, surveillance-based accusations, nickel-and-diming, and the grim industrial surroundings, this was an extremely unpleasant experience.I do not recommend this place under any circumstances. Save yourself the money—and the frustration—and stay elsewhere.
- Some of the staff were pretty rough. Especially at the breakfast. A gentleman was bringing pancakes out, baked goods, etc. and placed them by bare hands in the serving trays and baskets in front of the guests. Another gentleman with glasses, who was cleaning up the breakfast tables, made so much noise with the dishes and cutlery and with stuffing leftovers from the plates in the tiny desk top bins, that it attracted everyone's attention around him, while trying to enjoy their breakfast. Also, there are no towels offered at the swimming pool, not even upon request. You need to use the ones offered in the room, which you are then expected to use for showering as well.
- The breakfast is free for a reason(not good). We also had dinner twice at the property. The food left much to be desired and the service was horrible.

Travelled with my dog. Staff very helpful. Was allowed to take my breakfast to my room.
The room was spacious and the location is good for walking the dog (alas on the evening and morning of our stay it was raining so hard even our adventurous dog was not up for walking)
Bathroom was not really clean and the shower drain was clogged. Breakfast was acceptable, coffee was really bad. I understand that during the summer this might be a much desired location but for one night it was very much overpriced.
Location was great and onsite restaurant was also very good. Happy it was open when a lot of other places were closed right after Christmas.
Clean, good location fit for purpose. Comfortable stay
Very comfortable king size bed, separate table in room for laptop, small fridge. Perfect.
We loved the whole experience! The room was amazing, clean, stylish and very comfortable! The shower was amazing! The restaurant was delicious as well! The masseuse in the wellness center was professional, friendly and exceptional! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location was in a quiet area which was great! Would go back to stay in a heartbeat!
Nice hotel, good breakfast lovely outdoor space next to swimming pool for sunbathing, staff are nice and helpful, snooker table and plenty of games
There are no signs indicating pets be on leashes, so people have their pets running round the pool area and breakfast tables off leashes, its a bit inconvenient sometimes.
This is a supernice hotel with helpfull people. Good location easy car park nice swimming pool!
Everything was good.
Nice and calm location.Spacious and clean room.
- Nice location- Newly renovated room- Lovely inhouse restaurant- Staff gave some nice recommendations on check-in- Ample parking around the hotel- Nice swimmingpool. We had it for us alone in the morning.
- No towels available at the swimmingpool and no soap- Image showed bathtub, but we got shower- If you book through Booking.com you have to pay 9.5 for sauna. Otherwise it is free on direct booking- Two single beds pushed together to form a "double bed". There was a "hole" in the middle.
Room was good, treats for dog a nice touch. Dinner was excellent, as was friendly waitress; breakfast also had decent range of options (the morning chef was jolly too)
Friendly staff and great food
Rooms were slightly cold and central heating didn't seem to kick off
Good hotel at a beautiful location. Hikes and MTB Trails all go from the hotel itself. Staff is excellent.
Price is pretty high for a simple room, but the location makes all the difference.
The room was spacious, clean, stylish and practical. The breakfast was a treat, we arrived early and had lots to choose from.
The dinner at the hotel did not meet our expectations when compared to the prices.
reception staff, how they approach problems and how they accommodated wishes! restaurant people and food quality was amazing as well.
that there is no access to the sea
The hotel is great, I choose this place for my kite surfing weekend stay.
I was a little bit disappointed upon my arrival the sauna was fully booked, I had no opportunity visit it.
Even though the purpose of the trip was work related, I had the feeling that I’ve been on vacation. Great hotel with top facilities. Room is very comfortable and spacious, and is also very quiet. Breakfast with plenty of options although with no variation from one day to the other. Restaurant is also good with good options however a bit expensive.
The WiFi wasn’t the fastest and the greatest.I had no time to try the gym nor the swimming pool but colleagues said they were also good.
