Pros +
- It’s a stunning location and you can tell it was an angling property at one time. The current owners are just keeping it alive to cover fixed costs. It’s mostly shut down, there is a skeleton crew and the facility is going to seed
- This property is in an excellent location. Beautiful sunset views. The infinity pool was clean with a great view of the harbor. Room was spacious and clean. The staffing was sparse but they were very helpful and accommodating with what they are given. Given the fact that the rooms/villas were not full, it was very peaceful.
- Can you please check room 601 I left my credit cards and money

- Everything was old and distressed. I gave them an overall rating of fair because the property is so distressed and old but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. I feel bad for the staff who are faced with the many questions one has when they wander around.

Great location
Excellent view and hotel location is excellent
Older hotel with outdated amenities
Amazing hotel - probably the best in Nafplio, the view is great, the rooms are big and comfortable.
The breakfast is very basic.
The views were amazing, staff helpful and friendly, great food, lovely pool, quiet. I was upgraded upon arrival.
No WiFi: the router was broken. A few of the amenities in the bathroom were no longer functioning. I guess post-Covid, it is hard everywhere to find help repairing.
Hotel offered very good facilities with the exception of the wi fi,
The wi fi was not working/available, this put much difficulty on my work forcing me to use my hot spot data which became very costly, the hotel knew this and did not offer to compensate me for these costs
Beautiful views.
The facilities are old and outdated. The bathroom smelled and didn't flush well, and the fridge was broken.
Wonderful location with views to match, and very friendly & helpful staff.
Most of the property is mothballed, with very few of the facilities as advertised on the website. I have visited many 5-Star hotels around the world and this is, without doubt, the worst one by a mile.On arriving at the main property, you are greeted by a big red ‘Do Not Enter’ sign and, with no one around, you wonder what you are expected to do. Intuition takes you to a grubby car park with signs to Reception. You go in a graffiti-strewn lift, descend one floor, and are met by a man who guides you to Reception. This is not based in the main building at all but is located in a sad little room among what remains of the rest of the accommodation. You pass boarded up windows, unkempt gardens, impossible-to-lie-on sun loungers, and you cannot help the feeling you have made a terrible, terrible mistake.Fortunately, we only used the hotel as a convenient base, from which to travel around the rest of Greece. Had we not done so, we would have felt trapped in our room, since there was no other spaces we could use. No lounge, no sitting room, no bar area. Nothing. It came as no surprise to discover there was no WiFi, the TVs were at least 30 years old, one of which did not work. It took 2 days to discover how to turn the lights on and off. There were lots of other issues, too many to mention here. One particular memory which will stay with me forever is the reply to my request for somewhere comfortable to relax. I was told to go sit on a chair in the breakfast room! The rooms are hugely expensive. The owners seem to be treating the property like a ‘cash cow’ until it eventually goes into administration. Stayed in September 2024.
The view was fabulous. The suite we had was spacious.
So the suites lighting system was extremely complicated with many, many switches. Most did nothing! There was a large bathroom but very little lighting. No lights by the sink area and none by the large mirror. Difficult to apply makeup! The room was cold even when we tried to change the temperature. The shower was also complicated.
Property has spectacular views of Nafplio and the sea. Room was large with nice terrace overlooking view.
Location was not ideal if you want to be near the hustle and bustle of Nafplio. Difficult to find and half the property is closed up, so looks a bit abandoned when you arrive. The room was a bit tired and the lights were difficult to work.
The location is exceptional. The room has great view and the size of room is very comfortz
The electric system is very hard to operate.
The view from the room was breath taking. The suite was equipped with private Ham am and was amazing. We didn’t use many of the facilities so I can’t say about that. The stuff was absolutely friendly and kind. Some improvements need to be done in decorations in order for the rooms to look more cozy.
There was not lader in our private swimming pool so it was making it challenging to enter and get out of the pool
The highly professional and polite staff, the location, the view and the tasteful approach to everything in the hotel and its surroundings
The location and the room layout. Very spacious and accomodating with a large extra bed for our child.
The front door to the room did not lock. The hotel staff knew about this and "comforted" us by saying not to worry, there is security at the hotel. That didn't change the fact that the door key did not work and we had to force the door open with a shoulder bump every time. The morning included breakfast was very underwhelming. For the price per night much more is to be expected (there weren't even any eggs which is a staple in any included breakfast). The shower knobs were falling apart and the showering system was unpractical. We had a lot of trouble making the water hotter than lukewarm.
Location, view, staff
Rooms need to be renewed , style is excellent but deteriorating
Great decor , clean, beautiful setting
All the items In our room were not functional, or too complicated to operate. Like the steam shower and too many light switches . WiFi was bad
Everything was wonderful. The suite; the view over Nafplio; the staff; the two swimming pools; the food. I was finding the weather too hot to sleep until arriving at the hotel. It seems cooler up here for some reason, but still plenty of sun on the balcony for sunbathing.
No WiFi - which forced us not to have our phones on, but also made it harder to communicate with family at home.
room was amazing! view and location is superb!
jaccuzi didnt work nor did the wifi in the room
Location
Pools could be warmer and with less pigeons
