Rex Hotel

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! I appreciated the fact that there was good parking there and it was walkable to so much. The staff was excellent.

Bathtub/shower was tiny and interesting, but that is Europe, so I don't mark down for that. Just manage your expectations when it comes to European bath/showers.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good amenities and excellent location. They upgraded one room without extra charge to accommodate my request to be near my family that I was traveling with.

The shower was a bit small and had no place to put my own soap or shampoo, and the container of provided shampoo/shower gel was empty. However, the shower was nicely enclosed so that no water spilled onto the floor when showering.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and kind helping me when my husband was in a nearby hospital.

Clean and tidy room. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a short walking distance from Nafplio historical center.We stayed only for a night so not much of a time to get a better view of the hotel.

The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable and breakfast also quite good. This hotel could easily be rated as 4 star hotel.

The executive suite was spacious, parking was easy (off season) and the location was great for both city and exploring local historical sites.

The hotel was advertised as having air conditioning. Even though the temperature was rising, this wasn’t switched on (which wasn’t on the hotel description). We asked for a fan but were advised to open the balcony door. Unfortunately, it was very noisy.

Hotel is perfect, location wise for shopping, sightseeing, and as a base if you're visiting neighbouring city. Parking is free if your driving like what we did. Breakfast is good , selection of cold meat and cheese, pastries, cereal, fruits and a handful of hot food.

The only downside is we can hear the room next door to us and along the corridor. No soundproof for sure?. But the rest is nearly excellent.

The museum itself was beautiful. We appreciated the decorations and the general atmosphere.The staff was polite, helpful, and had excellent communication skills. Everyone was efficient while remaining well-articulated.The rooms were clean and had the necessary equipment, as well as extra amenities. The breakfast was exceptionally good. It didn't lack anything, and it was obvious that it was freshly made.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It has an older appearance but it’s very well kept, great convenient location, easy street parking, friendly staff, fluffy comfy beds, good breakfast. Definitely good value.

AC is not an available in the “cold” months, only heater as in other parts in Greece. Some days are very sunny and actually warm in fall so the room can get a bit too warm for my personal taste.

I was travelling with a male friend and had booked a twin room. First room had king size bed and 2 sofa beds. I asked to change room as we were cost sharing, we relocated and found replacement room one floor down, it was the same layout. Reception then said it was only option available and that a sofa bed was good enough. There was no linen in room anywhere for that bed so my companion slept under a towel. Sleep however was difficult as there was a 3 am arrival of a school group who dominated the corridors,climbing in and out of windows and generally being noisy excited young teenagers, that lasted until 5am.

The staff was very friendly. The room that I chose personally after comparing was nice, although small, and no good view, but comfortable. For one night it was a good solution since quite close to center but not so expensive.

As far as I remember breakfeast was not really a burner... I personally was not a big fan of Nafplio.
