Athena hotel

The staff was so kind and considerate of any thing we asked. The front desk person, breakfast personnel, maid service, and anyone that we had contact with was extremely nice. The Rooms were clean and orderly. I location was awesome too. Right in the mi!

Accessible , in the center of the old town , shops and restaurants are around the hotel . Staff are excellent and welcoming

It was located in the Sintagma Square, everything was near, the hotel was clean, smelled fantastic and the variety on the morning buffet was really good!

A very cozy hotel at the heart of the old city of Nafplio. For me the best part was the breakfast, with fresh orange juice prepared for you on the spot, as well as some amazing home made delicacies!

Property very centrally located on main square. Very comfortable beds. We had a corner room, so views of central square & old mosque right next door. Good breakfast. Great staff, very helpful.

A little hard to find. No parking close by, so you have to walk the square to find the hotel. Parking is about 5 blocks away & is free.

Great hotel in an excellent location in the main town square.

Nafplio is an old city and so the hotel met expectations in every regard. There is no elevator so you will have to go up one or two flights to your room. So for older folks that’s a consideration but it worked fine for me and the place is offered at a very good price. Would stay again.

Only the staff at reception

A big disappointment, room smelly and extremely small. Very loud so you can’t sleep, no sound proofing, you can hear people like they are in your own room. Booked 18sq and got tiny 9sq room, booked double bed got slightly bigger then single, definitely was not double. You lay one and half meter away from toilet so you can enjoy smell from toilet or hear everything from the toilet if someone is using it!!! Old and dirty utilities. It reminds you a jail cell shown in the movies. So bad experience I never had in life. I was going out and didn’t wanted to return back. Total waist of money and ruin the holidays.

the sink in the bathroom, very small and round with a long and tall faucet, almost impossible to be practical. if it wasn´t for that and the absence of the lift (which thing truly doesn´t bother me at all) would be perfect

Quiet location and within walking distance of a plethora of restaurants. Bed was very comfortable and shower was fabulous. Breakfast is very adequate - proper leaf tea is used and who doesn’t love an option of cake to have so early in the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice is also provided.

We loved it. Just be aware that like most accommodation in this ancient town with very narrow streets, parking is off site.

I would have liked to have elevator I started on the third floor but my room was too small for me so then they offered me the rooftop suite Oh my loved! loved!

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good and we had all we needed.

Luxurious stay for such a small town. Hotel is exactly on Syntagma square but quiet and the staff are soooooo nice!!!

The room was small but that was my choice and I feel it was an excellent value for money. Most of the day we were outside anyway. The room was very clean and the breakfast was generous and friendly. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The regional breakfast was delicious. Nafplio is a very elegant seaside resort. From there, the ancient sites Epidauros and Tyrins can be visited easily.

Very small single room, barely enough space to walk around the bed, literally.Doors are absolutely NOT sound proofI slept on the 1st floor close to the staircase. Every sound from the reception/breakfast area resonated loudly in my room, starting with the breakfast preparations at 7 or so am.
