Ilion Hotel

Booked only in the morning just after 10:00, because not sure if I could make it to the town of Nafplion that day by public transport. Was lucky because a reservation for the top room just got cancelled for the weekend and was surprised by the wonderful decoration and views from the room Big bathroom with jacuzzi. Location just of the main square and main bus station. That weekend the orthodox Easter with on Friday evening rituals in the churches and a procession and Saturday bells and fireworks at midnight. Perfect base for going to Mykene, Epidauros and Tolo. The breakfast room is filled with movie pictures and the staff is very friendly and provides for a good meal. Seeing a little owl (μικρή κουκουβάγια) on the next roof surprised me in early hours

While the jacuzzi is luxurious, I prefer a quick shower, which is not that practical in the tub.

Hotel with history. Very clean. In the heart of Nafplio. Perfect breakfast.

The room was truly exceptional, very clean and incredibly cozy. The suite was big, with many amenities and a nice patio. The breakfast was more than enough, with many options to pick. Would love to stay there again really soon, Nauplio is a wonderful city and this hotel truly represents it's rich history!

The room was very spacious.... the suite of the 3 muses !! a beautiful vibrant blue ! the breakfast was quite varied...plenty of everything ! located in the old town. Have been there 3 times and will go again

The bathroom door was very creaky and kept closing itself. had to prop it open with a tissue !

Beautiful hotel boutique.. even though decor looks a bit OTT in pictures, once I arrived and saw it in person I really liked it. Super clean and very nice staff

Very noisy. I think they were doing some renovations during my stay and doors/ walls not soundproof so I could hear all the drilling and talking.

Big room and bathroom. Nice decoration. Location in city center, near shops and restaurants.

Ilion hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the city's main square. Staff was very helpful and kind. Very clean room, and very comfortable bed. The fact that the building is so old and historic, only adds to a great experience. Breakfast was also very satisfying with a couple of local greek elements. Will visit again!

No cushions on the sofas and chairs. No tea/coffee making facility.

Located in the center but it was quiet enough to have a good night sleep. The hotel seems to be very old but beautifully well-maintained. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfying.

Some days they cleaned the other guest room before 9 o’clock and it woke us up. :(

The Ilion Hotel is one of the most charming hotels I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. A beautiful place with an excellent and efficient staff who went out of their way to help make our stay extremely enjoyable.

I didn't like that we only got to stay there three nights! A week would have been better as there is nothing to dislike about the place.

huge room, lovely bathroom and excellent location right in the heart of the town centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early and leave our bags for a few hours after our stay.

power sockets hanging off the walls which seemed an obvious safety issue, the balcony although lovely had too tall walls with an extra wooden piece that made it impossible to enjoy the view while seating. Breakfast was definitely not typical greek very carb heavy (breads with jams, cake, biscuits) . Would have preferred some options.

Overall, it’s an old building where you can hear everything from other rooms and there are some humidity spots in the bathroom.- There were serious noises from the wind that was blowing during all night long.- We were not provided extra toilet paper even though the room was cleaned up every day. We called them at 21:30 but they did not reply. We had to call them 3-4 times to reply after 30 minutes. I cannot imagine what would have happened if there was an emergency.- The cleaning service set our clothes as they wanted and did not leave them as we did. And we left them properly tided up. As an example of the above, they put our hand bag on the shoes storage.- Prior to our arrival, no one informed us that there is no parking near the facilities neither informed us that it is not allowed to approach it by car. So you need to leave your car really far away and carry your luggages on foot.

It was unique. Not a stay, more a really wonderful experience. The staff are delightful and so helpful. I felt very welcome. The hotel has lovingly been maintained - a feast for the eyes. A beautiful dining room and a very generous breakfast. I cannot praise this wonderful hotel enough. It’s truly been a memorable time. Each room is unique. The location is superb seconds from the main square.

You can hear every step, flushing the toilette and conversation of people above you, not good for people who cant sleep well.. There was not enought tables for breakfast so we ate in another room that was very cold
