Gorgeous Castle view from the Superior Room.Welcoming and gracious staff.Located outside Castle Walls, which allowed for free parking and easy access to our car, while being very close to Center.

Parking lot included Breakfast was great Convenient to visit the town as well as easy to get to the highway

Low water pressure, mattress is not comfortable, too hot climate in the room (central heating system w/o ability to cool the room)

The breakfast was AMAZING. Beautifully presented, delicious, relaxing in a very nice room. We wanted to linger and enjoy the ambience. On the evening of our arrival, we were invited to a welcome reception in the ‘lobby’ area (which was so homey - in a medieval way- with the fireplace lit in a rainy/windy night. We enjoyed a glass of wine and light snacks and got to meet other traveling couples - one from France and the other from Austria. We saw them the next day at breakfast which was nice. The location just below the man gate was nice for when we walked to dinner (in the rain). It was an evening for soup, and the lady at the front desk called around to find a place that would make a carrot-less soup (food allergy). Just can say enough about this stay! Would definitely stay here again.

We struggled with the old-fashioned key and lock. It reminded me of the old Cinderella movie - a big, thick skeleton key. At one point I locked myself in my room. But, the staff will come assist if needed.

We were greeted by two lovely ladies at the front desk. Our room was better thanexpected. A delux double with a queen bed and castle views. They front desk was very helpful . Breakfast was a beautiful buffet with multiple delicious choices . It was fun to meet down stairs each evening for a complimentary glass of wine to talk to the other hotel travlers. The ladies got us a cab for the train station ,Toni the driver was a delight . Such a pleasant visit to Obidos.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times whenever we come to Obidos. It’s so convenient and such a beautiful, historic building.

I loved the hotel. The parking is super-comfy, and the facility is simply beautiful. I think one of the reviews said that she felt like a princess when she entered the room. I can identify - it feels like an old castle that was brilliantly renovated, the decor, the room key (like old days), all feel like a fancy palace hosting you. The hotel itself is maintained at the highest level possible, the team is invaluable and friendly, and speak great English. We loved it.

Breakfast is great, but I really didn't like the coffee. Not a big deal

The hotel was absolutely charming and full of character. We loved Obidos and Real D Obidos was the cherry on the cake. The room was spectacular and I felt like a queen. Breathtakingly beautiful with all the old charm of years gone by.Breakfast selection was amazing too!

The fact that I had to leave!

The staff were outstanding. It was lovely to relax at the pool after a day of sightseeing. The complimentary drinks at the lounge in the late afternoon was lovely to meet other guests from around the world. Breakfast that was included was fantastic

King beds had two single mattress

We stayed in one of the Deluxe Double Rooms with a Castle View. They are only a few years old and so pretty. The room and hotel itself were very clean. After coming from Lisbon, it was very quiet and serene. We slept great, the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was also very nice with double sinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the free breakfast that came with the room. The hotel is in a great location, easy to reach the town inside the walls by just crossing the street and up a few flights of stairs. It's also literally around the corner from Ja!mon Ja!mon restaurant!

The price was a little high but we knew that when making the reservation as we chose to book their nicest room category (and very glad we did)!

Great location right outside the castle walls. Parking was available on the property (for a reasonable charge) though it is possible to park on the streets, but they are steep and cobblestoned so difficult to navigate even carryon type luggage. The staff were efficient, very helpful and very pleasant. Room was comfortable, bathroom was great with full amenities.

Locations was great. Has parking, breakfast very good has everything, even candy also loved the honour system that they had at to pool. They still have trust in people.
