- Location, parking, facilities. Beautiful view from the yard to the mountains. I didn't use the pool because it was winter.
Cons -
- Breakfast could use a slight upgrade

The hotel is on the outskirts of the old walled city of Obidos. It is a short 8-10 minute walk to vist the restored castle and city walls which are worth a visit but lacking in any safety features such as hand rails - in fact any rails at all, The hotel was well equipped and it had a very nice en suite which was tidied along with the bed and the room every day. There was a seating area outside and the breakfast was a buffet style affair with the usual array of brad, pasteries, cakes cold meat cheese etc. The breakfast room was a little impersonal and rather dull in terms of decor but we did not spend much time in there. Obidos itself was totally over run with day trippers being bussed in all day long. We enjoyed visiting in the evening and seeing the streets and the historic sites with a lot fewer people around. We would suggest if you do go to Obidos DO NOT stay in the old city it is very crowded, very "fake", very tourist orientated (lots of cheap tat for sale).
The hotel was great as it was.
Location!
I didn’t like the bed and pillows. The cleaners are working late at night doing noises. Breakfast is okay.
Breakfast. Bed. Location.
Shower glass wall was ineffective, allowing a significant amount of water to land on the bathroom floor from either above the glass wall (was too short), or in between the moving glass wall. A major water puddle that tried to make its way out to the bedroom floor. Some mold along the bathtub caulking. The sink was too small for the vanity, causing vanity rot from water exposure.
Cleanliness; near location to old part of town with tourist sights
plain breakfast, not refilled frequently enough especially if a tour group was also staying and eating ahead of you. Difficult to find the hotel via GPS due to it being on a one-way street and we had to stop twice and talk to locals for better directions.
Hotel with simple but nice swimming pool. The hotel needs some updating. Bed was comfortable but the sleep sofa was lumpy. Staff was very nice and helpful. She advised me 2 restaurants that were perfect for dinner.
We skipped breakfast. Not many choices. Coffee was terrible!!! Strange that all the staff members were having their breakfast from the very same buffet. We saw one of them putting back some cake and taking other pieces. We went to the PingoDoce for breakfast. There was no ice available and the pool towels were hardly available
The location was great. The room was a double room with a bed added but wasn't really big enough. It was fine though as we didn't stay long at the room. Breakfast was what you would expect and good.
A good location just outside the walled old town. The breakfast was good. The pool looked nice but I got there too late to use it.
A little tired, could do with a renovation. The walls were very thin and I was kept awake by a couple fighting in the room across the hallway and by someone else snoring next door.
The ladies at the front desk were fantastic! The location was great.
We really liked everything. The coffee machine at breakfast was a plus.
Excellent position. Lovely sitting out at the back of the hotel enjoying the view.Great accomodation. Very comfy.Staff very friendly and helpful, especially with the situation of total electricity power failure in Spain and Portugal. Will definitely return.
Having to leave after time booked, as I had to travel to get my booked ferry.
Breakfast was ok, nothing missing. A bit noisy breakfast area. Parking directly outside was convenient. A short walk to the historic centre of the city with all their sights. To see living history with almost all houses, still inhabited, within the ringed wall connected to the castle and the posada's is absolutely worth a visit. This is certainly one of the besthistorical monuments in Portugal. Go there!
Trying to find a resturant with good food in the evening was not easy. Most establishments have a long way to go before being able to serve a discerning gourment. But anyway, no one has to go hungry.
Location Excellent staff
The bathrooms were small and ill equipped .Breakfast was lacking variety
Excellent location just outside of the old city. Pleasant garden. Balcony was a nice bonus with a lovely view.
Great location, close to the old town of Obidos. Easy street parking
Just FYI - only one powerpoint in the entire room, had to unplug the lamp to use it.
Ample parking available and a comfortable walking distance to Obidos. Staff are accommodating and overall a great stay. Breakfast was included and meet most of our expectations. The room was ok size but struggled opening 3 suitcases in one room, bathroom had a bidet which was great.
The anti-slip mat had black spots which gives me the impression they were not regularly cleaned. Interior can look a bit dated. Although it is very close to Obidos, there is not alot of street lighting in the area but this is out of the Hotel's control.
Staff, location, comfort clean room.
very good location. close to the old city wall. room was comfortable. parking was easy
Good location.
Average breakfast. Average room.
