Trains were loud but not all night

Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

The only thing I did not like is the view of the campers by the river bank.

The hotel is walking distance to the Sankt Goar train station and ferry. Additionally, the view from the hotel is exquisite!Check-in was smooth, warm and friendly staff and good quality food (breakfast and dinner).If one is looking to spend some days in Sankt Goar, this hotel is highly recommended!

Very nice hotel just across from the Lorelei with a great view of the Rhine. Fantastic breakfast and very accommodating staff. They lent us bikes for the day to ride the path to Bingen and take the ferry back.

Keep your windows closed. The trains run all night (no fault of the hotel, of course).

Large spacious rooms and clean throughout the hotel.

That the restaurant is closed two days per week, so you have to use another hotel’s restaurant for food!

The breakfast was commensurate with the price we paid for the overnight.We were provided with a light meal and drink even though the restaurant was closed.

We loved the location, so close to the Rhine and we enjoyed watching the boats on the river and also the trains going past. We were told that breakfast would be served from 8am, but when we said we had a train to catch, the staff were very accommodating and encouraged to come down early for breakfast.We were very glad to have a fan in the bedroom as the weather was hot.

The trains are quite noisy so we had to keep the windows shut.

Hotel has a great outlook but next to main road and railway line. Staff were friendly. I borrowed a bike which was good.

Bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast was OK but little fresh fruit, and scrambled egg was solid. No tea making in room.

Clean, well-maintained room and premises. Manageable breakfast. Location is beautiful by German standards. Nearby camping ground has a mini-grocery store for restocking drinks and snacks. Decently accessible for travellers without vehicle attending Loreley amphitheatre events.

Lack of air conditioning in room could make life difficult during warmest summer months. Busy railroad segment next to hotel and jury-rigged cooling device on roof of a lower part of the building facing the river generate noise that could bother sleeping depending on room location. The smallest bookable room type is too small for two persons travelling with anything more than small backpacks.

Great location on the Rhine opposite the Loreley. Excellent buffet breakfast. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. I really liked the location, the view was really great, when the sun hits the Loreley it glows.

The hotel is in a great location across from the Rhine. Our room had a clear view across the river. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location provides easy walk to the cruise ship terminal at Sankt Goar. The room was very clean and the restaurant and breakfast were exceptional.

Location, breakfast, view! Room and staff all really great. Will go again!

Nice traditional family run hotel. Very good breakfast (eggs cooked to order also). Breakfast room overlooking the Rhine river. Easy parking just outside the hotel.

The breakfast was delicious! The location and view were lovely.

Our area where we stayed was extremely noisy, with intoxicated people that kept us awake until midnight. Not an ideal facility for families traveling.

The location is difficult if arriving by train.The evening pizza they offered was not free. That was not explained at all.

The staff - especially Helga, who went the extra mile to look after us (especially on my wife’s birthday, which occurred during our stay).The location - opposite the famous ‘Lorreley’ on the River Rhein.

The busy railway line was right next door - but we knew about that in advance!

Friendly staff, good restaurant if you like schnitzel (pork steak with batter) very nice S M L Medium is enough and small for light eater’s, and for those with a hunger L . Try it! ? cheese if you don’t like mushroom sauce! But there are other variety.The rooms are a bit out dated , looked like Granny’s room, and the mattress needs updating, uncomfortable, Overall it’s certainly worth a over night stop driving or cycling down the Rhine, lovely view of Loreleyblick. You need two days if you want to make a boat trip!

The bed needs bringing up to the Modern Age it’s from the 70s my granny has one wooden frame! The mattress well only one word change it!? Uncomfortable.Very old German Style but try it you may like it.

Very nice location with a nice view on the Loerley rock and the river Rhein. Well organized family hotel. Very friendly staff and pleasant ambiente.

Kitchen only open until 8pm. Afforadable rooms relatively small.
