Hotel Rheinfels - Radfahrer Willkommen

Great location & wonderful view from our room. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good.

Parking was a bit inconvenient.

Situated directly overlooking the river Rhine, this friendly family run hotel is located in the town of Sankt Goar. Excellent breakfast selection, with helpful staff. Elevator to all floors and large rooms with on-suite bathrooms. Ample parking opposite the hotel costs €7 per day, or free of charge by the train station. Best to ask in the hotel, as I was only there overnight in October, and I don’t know the prices throughout the year!

Unfortunately, there is no evening meals served within the hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk of the hotel.

The breakfast even though basic had some great eggs and peppers!

The professional and kindness from the front desk/ owner. Lacking!! Not even a bottle of water in the room. The room we booked was not the room we received! It was worse. Booked a double room with seating area and balcony. We received a triple room which is a 3rd room with extra bed we did not need and no seating area.

Breakfast was wonderful and varied a bit each day.Hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay there enjoyable!

Parking is off site and a big festival on the weekend required us to park a ways away.

Situated in the center of the city, nice view on the Rhine river. Clean rooms. Nice stuff.

Personally I didn't like breakfast. It was basic, and repetitive (90% the same as every day). For my wife it was ok.

The location of the hotel and view of the Rhine River were fabulous! The hotel has a lift which was nice getting our luggage to the third floor. We had a great stay!

Breakfast was really good with some delicious cooked dishes. . Great Location overlooking the river, right near a boat stopp and also a local ferry . It was easy to cross to the town on the other side so great access to both sides of the river and castles of the rhine valley. Was great fun watching the comings and goings of river boats from our window. There is a castle across the river which was beautiful day and night. A small town easily walked.

We had a room with a great view of the Rhein. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Good breakfast, and great location.

Perfect spot overlooking the river. Clean and comfortable with a very tasty buffet breakfast. Great value for money.

Location is great. It's right across the road from the Rhine RIver with a Castle on the hill across the Rhine from the hotel and an old one behind.The hotel is very clean and the breakfast were very good. We had a river view which was excellent. The hotel also has an elevator. Would stay again if I am back to St Goar.

The shower was a bit old and heating system could not be regulated

The view from our room was very nice! It’s such a peaceful area, we had a lovely night’s sleep. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice with good pressure and good heat!

The hallways have a bit of an odd smell but once you’re within the room is fine you can’t smell it. The breakfast could be improved a little with some fresher produce.

We loved everything, very quiet town if you're there on a Sunday though, most places are closed. Didn't worry us, found it very relaxing

Warm greeting when checking in. Very clean room. Felt like 1970's decor & bathroom, but I think it was all new. Very good location. Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs had a curry twist.

Great windows opening to view of Rhine River.

Odor in foyer and hallways. Garbage piled up. Parking is a distance away by train track and not easily accessible. Breakfast was not great quality of food; fruit underripe and not edible.

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location right next to the Rhine and convenient to all the main attractions as well as trains and ferries for getting around. Had a double room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine and an incredible view. Staff was friendly when they actually could be found. All in all a good value for the location.

Older style accommodations with some wear and tear showing. No A/C so it could get stifling at times and if you open the windows you WILL get bugs all over the place inside. Breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about.

Parking far a way , bathroom to small , water in the douch difficult to bring on rifht tempratuur (need a mengkraan)

Good breakfast. Our room facing rear so it's really quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Centrally located, with car parking spaces nearby, close to train station and ferry.

As it's a small town with most restaurants closed on Sundays, hope they can serve simple meals, not just breakfast. There is no kettle in the room and nowhere I can get hot water.
