    Pros +

    • Loved the views from some rooms.Excellent breakfast. Proximity to family activities. The fact that the hotel has a wellness area with a pool. Lovely staff, especially the ‘senior’ members. :)
    • Great location.Secure underground parking great for the motobikesNice poolFriendly staffLovely breakfast
    • Good location nice room good bar and restaurant

    Cons -

    • - Limited parking.- Some rooms in the annex building were facing a white wall, so it’s really schade to be assigned there when you expect mountain views, but my kids’ rooms had mountain views.
    • Not much vegetarian options on the menu
    • the squeaky floor outside my room was a bit annoying when other guests were walking past

We stayed here as respite from the rail strike in Germany. This is a very well run hotel, with an excellent restaurant. Very good breakfast buffet was included, which had the best selection of teas for tea drinkers that we encountered in a month of travelling. Easy walking distance to the station and central to all other amenities in the town.

Great place, with sauna and pool

Location is a bit far in the mountains

Excellent barkeeper and very good breakfast. Generally very friendly staff.

The TV station selection is very limited. The suite did not have coffee, while it had a water heater. The place could use an overall touch up.

Our apartment was excellent. Quiet, modern with all amenities, a kitchen equipped with everything and which disappeared behind a folding door if required. Shower and bathroom size was excellent.

The breakfast room , as in the food area where you get your food from, was much too small for the amount of people who were there, very crowded. Food quality and choice at breakfast was ok. There is room for improvement. One major upheaval for my husband and I was that before our arrival, we booked 2 successive whole body massages. We found the area where the 'massage room' was located not good as it was in convoluted/twisty hallways next to a lot of technical rooms. Not very appealing having a massage next to a technical room. The other issue was the person(lady) who gave us the massage. I have had a LOT of massages throughout my life, but never have I had such a 'wishy washy and unprofessional massage' (if you could call it that). The Asian lady was slight of build and and her 'technique' consisted of rubbing around my back listlessly and in large or smaller circles. At first I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt and encouraged her verbally to apply more pressure as I got nothing out of effort. I expect a professional masseuse to respond to me and not tell me to relax. She gave me a couple of minutes more pressure and that was it. I was very dissapointed and when I walked out and it was my husbands turn, I encouraged him to tell her straight away to use more strength during the massage. Now, my husband is a very tolerant person and easygoing and he told me not to worry. When he came back to the apartment after the massage, he told me that I was right and that the massage was totally unacceptable and that he was not satisfied either. We paid Euro 68 per person and as far as I am concerned, it was a waste of money and time. Unfortunately. When we checked out, my husband mentioned the issue we had and the person at the reception said: What did you expect, the lady is slight of build. WRONG ANSWER: I strongly recommend you get a more professional masseur/masseuse who enjoys her/his work.

    It was very central.

My room was very warm, even at night when it was already cool outside.

Perfect location, nice view, friendly staff in the breakfast room and housekeeping

Even though it was a deluxe room, there were no screens separating one balcony from the other, therefore offering no privacy. The front office staff did not seem to comprehend nor accept this shortcoming.

Good location nearby village centre. We had our own terras and the breakfast was perfect.

    a very nice area

I was very disappointed, the hotel doesn't match 4 star hotel. Hotel room was a tiny one, equipped with a furniture which has seen a better times few years ago. I`ve never seen a smile on a staff face, services limited. Breakfast nothing special, I missed more choice, comparing to other 4 Star European hotels. I don`t recommend to an average age 18-60 years, there`re much nicer hotels in this area for this price range.

The very good rating for the staff applies to Gusak (I hope I spelled the name correctly) from the reception who went out of his way to help me and even my sister, who was just my visitor. Friendly and professional. Everyone else was sadly not as friendly as I expected, but I will most probably be going back because of the great room and wonderful location.

    The location and the room.

The single room was simple but larger than expected and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with ample choice in a very beautiful traditional breakfast room.

The only thing that could be improved was the easy-listening American music played at breakfast, which did not suit the place.

    6KieranPosted on: 11-24-2021

The facilities namely the pool and hot tub, the proximity to the city center, the breakfast had a lot of options with my personal favourite being the brioche, the size of the room.

The noise from the church late at night and early in the morning, the staff were hard to find and uncomfortable to speak to, the facilities had extremely beaurocratic measures to prevent covid spread that can be simplified with a little tech know-how, the breakfast meats was lower quality specifically the smoked salmon, the furniture was old fashioned. Overall it just seemed more pretentious than it deserved any right to.

    * My room was a little small.

polite staff, good breakfast, nice bed and armchairs

due to central location and the staff setting the tables outdoors at 7am, it was partially noisy when sleeping with open window, bathroom to be renewed, gluey stains on the floor were not removed despite notifying at reception

I liked the room (suite) a lot, very good restaurant and breakfast too.

Woman at front desk was not helpful at all when asking for assistance to book a restaurant, as people didn’t speak English.
