    Pros +

    • The gentleman at the front desk made our stay so pleasant. The scenery, location, pool/spa accommodations and the restaurant were luxurious.
    • Rooms are great, also the dinner was nice. However, perhaps the location is a bit on the more expensive side. The Spa area was great (especially the outdoor hot tub, perfect for in the rain with view on mountains!). Bathroom is nice.
    • Pool. Proximity to the lift

    Cons -

    • Everything was wonderful
    • There was no one at reception and we even tried to call a multiple times. This took quite some time...
    • Size of room a bit small compared to other places we have stayed in the area ( for the price).

BEWARE! This hotel is NOT family-friendly!!!

Our group of seven families stayed at this hotel, and from day one, we felt unwelcome, especially our children. The staff was condescending and made it clear that kids were not appreciated here.Upon arrival, we were informed that children could only use the pool/spa area until 4:30 PM, which we respected. In fact, we never stayed past 4 PM. However, despite following their rules, our kids were still singled out. The staff even approached us when two adult guests complained about children playing in the pool. When I questioned why our kids were being targeted, the staff rudely dismissed my concerns and repeated the 4:30 PM curfew - despite us never violating it!The restaurant experience was just as unpleasant. Our children were treated with disrespect and were immediately shooshed upon arrival for dinner. For context, they were not disruptive, just happy and social. When one of us politely asked if the kids’ meals could be served before the adults’, Monika (by far the rudest staff member I have ever encountered) flat-out refused, stating that because the kids had ordered a “secondi,” they would have to wait. She then snapped that we shouldn’t tell her how to do her job. Having worked in the hospitality industry myself, I know this kind of attitude is unacceptable.Between Monika and Maria, the service was consistently unpleasant. If this hotel doesn’t want families, they should clearly state that they cater to adults only. We would have gladly taken our money elsewhere instead of enduring such rude treatment. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children!

    Bad experience

This hotel should be an adults-only hotel. It is not kid-friendly, so if you have children, reconsider staying here. They restrict kids from the pool area after 4:30 PM. The dinner we paid for was not worth it, and the waitress, Monika, was unprofessional and rude. I brought this issue up with the owner, but she didn’t seem to care. Also, the Wi-Fi was down during our stay, and I couldn't check my email or messages. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed!!

Amazing view. Nice Spa. The Location of the Hotel is very nice. The last in the street, Handed over by mountains.

We booked half board and were generally satisfied. However, one thing bothered us. For dinner, you can choose between two menus, which most of the time included pork. We asked if there was a vegetarian option, but this was denied. For our last dinner, the waiter asked us if we wanted to choose from the alternative menu or stick with the regular menu. The alternative menu had a great and delicious selection. If we had been offered this from the start, we would have been completely satisfied.

The hotel is in a beautiful, secluded location, with modern and clean rooms, lounge, dining- and wellness area. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Our vacation there was very relaxing and enjoyable – an excellent stay for the price!!

It would be nice if the wellness area were not only open in the evenings. For guests with very demanding culinary preferences, the menu may not be the highlight of the stay, but it is definitely satisfactory. But for the price, nothing to complain about.

The apartment is large and very comfortable. The breakfast has a great spread and the staff at breakfast were always very friendly. The hotel is located perfectly for hikes and yet still close to the town at the bottom of the road. A car is however recommended.

We stayed in the apartment, which was missing a few things from the kitchen. Ie bin, drying up cloth, wine glasses etc. The lady at reception could definitely work on her mannerisms, it felt like she hated every minute of her job. Lastly, a very loud family with kids and dogs (barking non stop when left alone) was there during our stay, which definitely spoilt the experience a bit. This is however no fault of the hotel.

This accommodation was very comfortable in beautiful surroundings. The hotel provided everything we needed, and we appreciated having the pool towels already in our room. The restaurant meals were delicious, and we were impressed with the selection and quality of the food; the restaurant itself was also very spacious, bright and relaxing. We loved this hotel very much. The staff provided outstanding service and they were very friendly.

    We liked everything!

A lovely hotel, in an excellent location for a trip to the Dolomites, clean and spacious, we arrived late and they waited for us with a pleasant welcome, the breakfast is great with courteous service. The spa is excellent, the view is stunning and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

    1. Food was really great! Thanks a lot to your cook!2. Beautifull location next to the slope.

    1. Small surprise - absence of Prosecco to breakfast. The waiter said that prosecco is not really for breakfast. But I travelled a lot, and in every Italy **** hotel (Spain - kava, and so on...) it is quite regular.2. Just a peace of advise to hotel. If you annonce, that wellness hours for children are till 4 pm, just check it! There are plenty of childrens inside till 8 pm, so adults just cann.t to use the whirpool and the pool.

The room was spacious and quiet. The spa was great after skiing. The dining staff was very kind and friendly. We really enjoyed that we could ski out the front door to the main lift area. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Great place definitely would recommend, the dinner was exceptional like a real restaurant and the staff was very nice. Great view from anywhere at the property.

We loved our stay at Rosengarten. We only stayed for 2 night unfortunately but we will certainly consider getting back for longer. The hotel is very nice and new. The room was super comfy and clean. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi which our daughter loved. The location is good because we could reach the walks on Latemar and Catinaccio easily even though the view from the room was not great.

I still believe it is a bit overpriced but this is normal in the area for any available structure.

    The Spa

When I checked in, the receptionist said I was lucky because I would get a very nice room. When I saw the room, I wasn't sure if he had just been cynical or, oddly enough, really meant it. My room was at the back of the hotel, just 5 meters from the hillside. No view and not a single ray of sunshine during my entire stay. Also, zero mobile reception in the rooms on the back side of the hotel.I had to work each morning. Unfortunately, this was almost impossible because the hotel kept a small dog in the backyard of the hotel. It was barking all the time, a very intense, high-pitched annoying barking. So I had to keep my windows closed all the time. No view, no fresh air, no silence.... great, for that I don't have to go to a mountain hotel, I can have that in the city. By the way: the slogan of the hotel is: "Your place of silence".... what a joke. I complained twice at the reception about the dog. Nothing was done. The dog was outside from eight in the morning until six in the evening, and it barked constantly. At checkout, the receptionist wanted to charge my credit card a second time, even though the price of the nights had already been charged several days in advance by booking.com. I had to bring out my computer, log into my credit card account, and prove that my card had already been charged. The rooms are relatively modern, but some of the furniture looks worn already. Either they really have a very high occupancy rate or they were using very cheap materials/forniture.The spa is good. Breakfast was ok, but definitely not "fabulous".

Hotel does provide dinner and breakfast. You have to pay for the dinner. But it worked out for us quite well because most restaurants in the town stays close on Monday and the one which were open got closed by six o'clock . We reached to the hotel by restaurant's by 4:30 and by the time we settled down and started looking for the restaurant, it was too late. The restaurant dinner is quite delicious .

In this area almost all hotels or the hotels we stayed has no air-condition . We were told we never needed one, it naturally gets cold at night. But not true. Nigts were warm and uncomfortable . if we keep the windows open, it became comfortable but windows did not have screens so bugs had free pass to enter the room.
