Hotel Albarrán

Charming traditional-style hotel with friendly staff, hearty Spanish breakfast, very comfortable bed, good hot water pressure, super quiet, and secure parking.

Very nicely setup, has everything you need: even a fridge to store lunch etc. Has a great courtyard, and friendly staff.

The walls were a bit thin

Big bedroom, fridge . There was a communal lounge with tea and coffee making facilities. There was also an out door courtyard. The,staff couldnt be more helpful when charging our bicycles. Breakfast was basic but reasonable value,at 6 euros. You could bring your own food and drink into the hotel. It was central to the historic centre

It was a stay in a beautiful building located in the new town side of the Albarracin area. The staff were very polite and communicated thoroughly, making my stay very pleasant. The guest room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The common area had a kettle, tea bags, and coffee available, which guests could freely enjoy on the terrace. The breakfast was particularly noteworthy. I had a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price. If I have the chance to visit Alvalade again, I will definitely stay here again.

To reach the tourist area of Albarracin, you need to walk for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Location not to far from central area and the garage for keeping the motorcycle in over night.

Breakfast didn’t start until 0830h and because there is only one staff member the service is really slow and nothing is ready to put out. They need at least 2 people serving / preparing the food. If a person is checking out at the time they have to stop breakfast and go to the front desk

Great large rooms, good breakfast, clean riooms and parking

Breakfast was very very minimal and low quality coffee and orange juice which you dont expect in spain - I think they could increase the price and offer more local quality

They offer tea in the lounge which was a nice touch but the need to replenish when used or at least daily - seconf night there were not enough infusiones and no water in the jug

Clean and comfortable small hotel. Large room and good if basic breakfast. Excellent value for money! Garage parking for an extra 5 euros.

Great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable and in an ideal location. We stayed with our friends and both rooms were excellent. The breakfast was good value for money too. The residents' lounge was a lovely room to relax in and the outdoor patio area looking out to the surrounding countryside was a total delight. We will definitely return. Thank you.

A little more information and interaction from the host about the hotel and all its facilities would have made the stay perfect.

well positioned with easy access

no free / or purchasable drinking water in the rooms or any form of cooling … but was exceptional hot days we stayed! but free coffee/tea is available in the lounge area

it was very quiet and nicely equipped bedrooms. it has a pretty courtyard garden and easy parking. The. breakfast was more than adequate and well recommended.

A lot of stairs up to the room, and one small window meant the room was a bit dark

Excellent breakfast, good sized room and facilities with secure private parking. Quaint area with narrow cobbled approach. About a 10-15 minute to the attractive Village centre.

Bottled water in the room would have been appreciated.

WiFi connection could have been better

The room was a bit small but it did its job. The shower worked fine, the bed was comfortable enough, there were two chairs (when there's only one it's sometimes a bit uncomfy sitting on the bed). Probably the thing I liked most was the breakfast, coffee/tea, juice, a couple of slices of toast, a couple of buns/biscuits for 6€ which I thought was very reasonable. Staff pleasant enough. All fine.

I don't think I read the description of the property very carefully. In the description it clearly says that the hotel is 750 metres from town centre and it is. It's a long 750 metres because it's a very steep hill to the centre of the old part of Albarracín. I'm sure too that there was no mention of aircon. In Spain I tend to think that everywhere has aircon. The hotel doesn't and whilst it's relatively cool overnight it would have been better with aircon. The main difficulty with the room though was that it was up a flight of stairs, through a communal area and up a couple of flights of steps more. A bit of a slog for an oldie like me. And the room wasn't exactly big either - it was big enough though.

very thin walls, I woke up in the middle of the light due to a person walking upstairs. I slept very bad.

Nothing about the property but it is a good walk up hill to get to the historical centre. In addition there were few restaurants around that were open in the evening
