Hotel Zenit Neum

Location

The hotel is very old and has no elevator to all rooms so getting to the room is very difficult especially with the luggage. The worst part was an unprofessional staff at the reception who was extremely rude and refused to provide guest services to us.

Absolutely nothing

Hotel was old and not maintained properly. Furniture is also in very bad shape. Bugs - ants on the bed. Bathroom was also old and smell was horrible. Many of the stairs are broken and wobbly not safe for older people and kids.

The parking space was insufficient and crowded.

Ordered room with two Kings sized beds and received the room with three queen sized beds.

The hotel is in need of substantial maintenance as everything in the room, from furniture to equipment, appears old. The TV is not functioning , resembling the size of a laptop, and the dated Iskra phone was non-operational, making it challenging to contact reception in case of emergencies. No WIFi connections . On a positive note, the bed sheets and towels were clean, the daily cleaning service was thorough, and the hotel's location was convenient. Everything except parking problem was good.

The hotel didn't have parking available, and when we asked for parking space we didn't get any response. Very disappointing.

The location. Near the sea

Its very old, it smells like in a dumpster it almost made you feel sick. I do not recommend it.

Location

Old, dirty, smelly, noisy.. (you can hear people from other rooms going to the toilet all night) rooms are old and filthy. Dust and cobwebs all over. In desperate need of an upgrade and definetely not worth the amount of money that was paid.

Food was great for breakfast and dinner. Location was perfect. Hotel staff was wonderful.

Bathrooms in rooms need an update and hotel has a lot of stairs.

The location is great.

I didn’t like that I got charged a lot more than the locals per night and no dinner included. My wifi never worked in my room. Wifi only worked in the lobby.

The beds are really comfortable, although we had no balcony, we did have a sea view which was beautiful. The staff was very nice, aside from the receptionists.

The beach is not private as it says on booking. Nothing is reserved for the guest of the hotel, they actually charge for the beach chairs and sun umbrellas. We talked to the receptionists about it and they just said that no beach can be privatized in that area and laughed in our faces. The problem is not in having to pay, the problem is that something else was expected. The place was pretty clean, except for the shower that needs a scrub.

The location is optimal, everything is very close, you can go to the store, beach on foot.The staff was cool, helpful.

The building is in a very poor state, the infrastructure was nit renovated since the very first completion probably 50 years ago. No one invested in anything since then.

Food was ok, beach was very close and accessible.

The staff didn’t make me feel very welcome there. Everyone gave out a cold vibe, the A/C was not included in the room which I missed while booking and the WiFi mostly didn’t work. Shower was somewhat broken and it had an electric switch in there (?).

Bad

I reserved a room with the sea view and balcony. When I came to the receptionist for the check in she was very rude and beside that she gave us the room without the balcony and the view we had was awful. It looked straight to the buildings and beside that, the room was very dirty and had hairs on the floor and there was bread that was really old. We came up to the receptionist and she said that we didnt ask for the room with the sea view and she showed us printed version of our booking which stated that we had booked the room with the sea view but lady obviously didn’t know english. After all she was very rude and after consulting with someone (I think the manager) she gave us the room with the balcony. I do not recommend staying at this hotel especially if you are traveling with your family. It has no AC nor the TV.

I was there because of Underwater film festival and it’s perfect place for big happenings
