Water temperature of the swimming pools not heated and extremely difficult for small kids to cope, lunch and dinner not available a la carte menu as mentioned.

The location is nice, the view on the mountains and the lake is awesome. Outdoor pool is very good, gym is very good for a hotel gym.There is a sauna, which could be hotter, but still quite good.The food was nice and tasty.Our family enjoyed staying there.

The room with a lake view is a bit scam as it was not THAT lake but a small pond instead so it's not wroth paying extra for that.All eqipment near the pool is very old or broken, no showers neither near the pool nor in the sauna (all showers are out of service except the only one with two options - hot water and very hot water). Sliding doors in the rooms are quite old and it's very hard to open/close them.Mediocre variety of activities, so it could be a bit boring to stay for a long time there. There is a trail along the lake bank, but the access is restricted in the evening.

I rented a Premium One-bedroom apartment with spa access for me and my girlfriend and it exceeded our expectations, the apartment was big, spacious, comfortable and had all the utilities necessary to have a great stay. The breakfast had a good variety of food.

There are some things that can be improved, such as, the temperature of the jacuzzi, a better maintenance of the spa and it's installations.

This is a fabulous place to stay if you want peace and Tranquility, but also there is a lot to do in the hotel grounds itself as they are very very large and have a stunning view over the lake. The rooms are very large and you have plenty of room and also have your own balcony which is a good size and nice to use.We did encounter a couple of issues when we first arrived, but Raquel who was in the reception is absolutely fantastic and everything was sorted out very swiftly and this is the sort of standard you do expect in a five star hotel and it was very nice to see it all happen so fast. Also many thanks to Patricia who also acted swiftly in sorting out a couple of problems. These are two members of staff that really stood out and should be very greatly appreciated by your company as these are truly leaders in their profession.We will highly recommend this hotel and will stay with you again. Beautiful location! Amazing outdoors!Spacious room, very comfortable, newly renovated! Very clean!Great play space for kids!

The indoor pool is cold - both the water and the air! The jacuzzi is ridiculously freezing and outdated (plastic 90s style)! Not at all good! The sauna and Turkish bath on the women’s side is broken and useless - Making the other one overly crowded. The massage room was too cold! During and after the massage, the temperature was so cold it made the muscles tense up even worse than before! It was terrible!The overall temperature around the pool/spa/sauna area is just incredibly freezing! It makes no sense to relax when it’s painfully cold!The staff was not the friendliest. They weren’t rude, per se, but they were bland. Ultimately they would help accommodate our (not that complex) requests, but not in a very friendly way. Dinner was not served, the only option was an extremely overpriced buffet!

dinner was plain bad. Trying too hard to be hipster/millennial friendly but ending up being just bad for the price. Stop trying to do gourmet/fusion cuisine if you are not willing to go all the way. As it was, it was just a big disappointment.dinner staff was bad - our glasses were empty until I eventually got up and went pick the bottle at the far end of the table and replenish them myself. The waiter did not even notice I did this nor did he apologize. So, like the food, if you're not willing to go all the way with the service, just leave the bottle bucket at reach, and do not set the expectation that there is a proper restaurant service.

Amazing gym and pools. Food at dinner and breakfast was exquisite. Rooms are large and luxurious.

Staff was not very friendly. One specific receptionist, when asked about the food available for dinner plain out lied.

The strange downbeat atmosphere, the staff in the restaurant were awful, didn't know what they were doing really. Very poor management of the young restaurant staff

Almost everything was perfect. The place, the room, the cleaning, the reception, the welcome attention, the food in the restaurant... The location is amazing.

A few things: the temperature of the inside swimming pool room and the gym. Some equipment in the gym needs some attention... WiFi was not so good in the room...

The property is huge, well maintained and off season we had most of it to ourselves. The T1 apartment was very nicely designed, a little chilly but generally comfortable. Breakfast buffet was yummy.

The staff from the moment we entered reception were unfriendly and definitely not dog friendly. I travel all over Europe with my dog. We stay in 4-5 star pet friendly accommodations. When we entered to check in the woman behind the counter yelled something at us I did not understand. Basically she was saying get your dog out of here! The hotel is not at all pet friendly, only the apartments up the hill. The attitude continued with each interaction about the spa about towels, robes…Portugal has a lot to learn about customer care.

The outdoor environment was great. The views, the swimming pool and the proximity of the room to the main building were all very good.

There’s not much else nearby in regards to grocery stores and restaurants etc. but of course, that remoteness = beautiful scenery.

Gym - is is old and dangerous and it is like that for lat least 4 years

The room was spacious and clean, the location by the river is beautiful and the spa has a great massage therapist.

The food could be better and the kids club was too small.

The facilities and service stays at a very low level for a five stars hotel. No room service, meal’s only in a poor buffet service !?! Spa out of order !?!

Stunning hotel, in a beautiful location. Room was bigger than we imagined, with a view overlooking the lake. Staff were really friendly. We took our own bikes and used the facilities on the lake. Great location for families ?
