Pros +
- Very nice staff with some staff speaking English well, but all were polite and helpful. The huge warm indoor salt water pool was amazing and we really enjoyed the gym too. The breakfast had healthy vegan and vegetarian options. The family room we stayed in was huge with two bedrooms so we loved the space. Ample covered parking nearby was very helpful.
- We liked the shuttle bus and the room was big and clean. The tap water was very good to drink. The pool was great and clean.
- Our room was clean. I liked the salt bath and the location of the hotel. Cleaning ladies were friendly. Breakfast was ok.
Cons -
- We had wanted to stay in town but all hotels were sold out so this hotel was our only choice, however it was at a lovely location a ten minute drive from town up on the mountain side with beautiful views so we were very satisfied. The hotel is dated but in good condition and clean.
- The pillows of our 4 beds weren’t comfortable. The bathroom looked old specially the water faucet was really hard to open. The breakfast area was small for such a Hotel and one day we even had to wait 20 minutes for an available table.
- Bathroom towels in our room were very old and worn. Some towels had yellow stains on them, which was quite unpleasant. Our room was on the ground floor and it was extremely noisy in the early morning. Cause our room was directly located next to the breakfast room. The bed matress was very old and extremly uncomfortable. If a hotel is a "wellness" hotel, you expect to be able to relax a bit. Unfortunately I didn't get any sleep for 3 days long during our stay. It was definetly not wellness time and was not a good choice for this price. To be improved.

Large room, quiet location and nice Wellness area (the pool with salty water was really cool).Good breakfast with a lot of choices and fresh/local ingredients
Nice welcome. Safe bike lock up (I was doing Route du Rhone with my 2 sons) and a nice pool to soothe aching muscles. Good and varied breakfast.
Hotel is very tired with original decor/fittings from 1970s (certainly in family apartment). Some minor irritations with bedside lamp/TV
Welness pool. Transport service to restaurants.
Stuck in the 80' ies. Bed too soft. Terrace overgrown, poor maintenance. No restaurants nearby.
Nice swimming pool, spacious bedrooms and very clean.
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the sauna area rather small but very clean.
Large room with lovely views.
No restaurant or bar on site or within easy walking distance. Shuttle bus provided to take you to a restaurant in the village.Additional cost for car parking even though it was not secure parking.
This hotel is a gem. It was a last minute booking, we booked it 30 mins before we arrived. The room was cottage-style and the view was breath-taking. The hotel is located uphill, which makes the view even better. The neighbourhood is quiet and you can hike nearby (they give you hiking maps). There's a beautiful river nearby.
Air-conditioning would have been a plus. But, I understand that it's more of a winter retreat.
Clean and well equipped
Horrible for young people or families . The staff is not friendly , not smiling at all, they hardly know English, not welcoming attitude and specially not nice at all to children . The other guests are mostly elder people and not for families.
The spa was very welcoming
The rooms were dated and poor quality
Very nice family apartment - especially the living room/kitchen space and updated bathroom, nice pool and sauna area. We appreciated flexibility to accept pets (we travel with our cat) and organise a gluten free breakfasts for us. Overall, it was a good stay and we would gladly go there again.
The quality of the 2 bedrooms in the apartment wasn't equal - only one was specious with a comfy bed. The second one was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable. Would only recommend it when staying with children but not suitable for 2 adults. It would be also nice if the spa/pool shower area had a soap or any kind of shower gel - anything to wash yourself before and after using the pool or sauna.
Very good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room although a little warm due to the outside temperature.
The hotel needs some updating. One point in particular is the lights in the bathroom which give out far too much heat.
I liked that it was quiet and that the staff had given me an extra duvet to put under my arthriitic shoulders. I was not interested in using the spa facilities which I would think a lot of guests would use. I like that hiking and gondola rides were close by
that it did not have a restaurant. The restaurant that they referred me to ( only 1 of 2 in the area) basically ignored me for over 25 minutes until I talked to them in French. I found that standard for that area. They had a huge parking area you had a walk a short distance to. It was off the highway but on a road that at times only one car could fit so you may have had to back up, you certainly have to careful driving that road
Breakfast was absolutely awesome, Swimming-pool excellent, garage dedicated for the bike with pumpad all tools available.
Room even if outside was 8-9 degree and the heaters were off was too hot inside the room.No dinner available in the structure ( But they provide the transport to the near restaurant)
SPA and cleaning are the best within the property
breakfast with not many fresh food and rooms are quite old style
Nice pool with saunas, pets friendly place, electric car charging available
No gluten-free choice for breakfast, pool could be opened a bit longer then till 20:00.
The hotel is nicely located above the main street and close to the furnicular station (10 min walk). The breakfast has a good selection (typical swiss options such as bread, eggs, cheese, meat and yogurt). The staff was friendly and helpful. A bonus point is the indoor pool and sauna which we enjoyed after a long day of hiking. We stayed there during summer when it was exceptionally hot outside, so having an (indoor) pool available was very nice.
As the weather was very hot outside (+33°C), the room got heaten up very quickly even when closing all the blinds. At night, it was almost not possible to sleep because the room itself had a temperature of more than 30 degrees. There is no fan or AC available in our room, so we just laid in bed, sweat was running down our bodies... As it is not uncommon in that area that it gets hot during summer, I would expect to have at least a fan in the room to circulate the air.
Staff was very kind and room was very clean
Walking to the hotel from the train was a little difficult, because it's uphill and you have to walk down this one lane road that has a cliff on the other side. But it's only like a 10 min walk
Big, clean and warm swimmingpool, that’s the biggest plus if this place.
Not easy communication, most pf the staff speaks only german. No chance to have dark in the rooms, and very hot.
