- The staff. The pool. The history.
- A few places in the facility were showing some wear (i.e. carpet), but not necessary unexpected given the age of the hotel
- Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Nothing much to do around the hotel or Curia.

The historical significance and charm of a grand hotel. Staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. We felt as if we were welcomed as family. This is the 4th generation to operate the hotel (same family that built the hotel in 1922).

Cool place, authentic, with history, vintage interior, friendly staff, clean pool, tasty breakfast
Really magical place. The feel of the old times luxury. Swimming pool in the garden, breakfast, private parking - everything more than ok. Recommended.
The breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff, in particular, a lady that I think is called Maria Joo, was super nice and welcoming. It was my birthday and she even offered me a flower bouquet, it was such a lovely gesture - Thank you once again for your sympathy. She was also very lovely to my little dog. The fact that the hotel was also quiet was a bonus for us. We enjoyed the pool without too many people around. Also, the cats that leave at the hotel were a bonus for an animal lover like me. They were very cute and my dog had the chance to hang out with them. The fact that the hotel is 100 years is also amazing, it seemed like it was a time travel while walking in the hotel.
Room was big and staffs are friendly. Lots of space for parking and you pet to roam around.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Nothing much to do around the hotel or Curia.
Eycellent experience! Old vila totally time correct interior & exterior. Good breakfast
The perfect place to stay in the boutique hotel with history. The owners are very nice, location is great, breakfast as well.
there is safe place dedicated to the bike.I really apprciated th poolbreakfast was perfect.
warning : difficult to find a place to eat in this city.Pictures are conform to reality. it would need some refresh but it would not be the same atmosphre.
Historic hotel from 1922 with updated bathrooms, staff like family, fantastic breakfast, swimming pool and bar in historic old town near Camino De Santiago.
3 km walk from Camino De Santiago.
This is the fourth time I have stayed at Hotel do Parque which speaks for itself. Maria is very helpful in providing lots of local information and the different cakes she bakes for breakfasts are wonderful. The property is a hundred years old and full of old fashioned character yet scrupulously clean with modern amenities. The accomplished pianist who plays some nights in the lounge is particularly special and adds to the atmosphere over glasses of the local Port. I thoroughly recommend this place for a stay... but please not if it stops me getting a room there!
There is nothing to dislike about Hotel do Parque. If you want a clinical, modern hotel with no character or atmosphere, go somewhere else
I loved to experience this 100-year old hotel and to learn a lot of the hotel stories. From roller skates in the big dining room during the off-season to Spanish priests during civil war and British pilots in WW2. The hotel itself is a beautiful building where the owners have done an amazing job of providing nowadays comfort and amenities maintaining a lot of the old days decoration and way of living. An amazing walk in the past! Really glad the hotel has stayed with the same family all these years. I'm sure a big hotel chain could do expensive (and some needed) renovations. Still, I'd much rather have this very comfortable, welcoming and more authentic piece of history. Highly recommended! Ask the owners for some stories! Great breakfast and great price. Couldn't have asked for more.
That I didn't have enough time to enjoy the pool in the back :-)
It was a pleasure to stay in Hotel Do Parque. Room was nice, but interiors was awesome. Lady was nice to us, they've provided us nice snacks at the evening. Breakfast was rich and dining room was perfect. Living room is quite and perfect place for evening talk. All these created exclusive experience of staying there. We're appreciate it.
Couldn't mention anything. It was perfect.
really cool hotel, old and stylish. very friendly staff
It's a big old building with a lot of charm and original features. Full of interesting decor inside. Like stepping back in time to another world. The bathroom was very clean. The pool area is nice. The staff were very nice & helpful.
It was a bit tatty and is run down. But it's a big old creaky place and i can see how much work it needs to keep it running. My bedroom was very small and the bed uncomfortable. The area of the village generally had a vibe of a lost past, of dust and things departed. Interesting but slightly decayed.
My second stay at this family run hotel. From the moment you come in you feel very welcome and at home. The hotel is an open museum, the staff is going above and beyond to make your stay the most enjoyable possible.Very good food (with allergy/intolerance options), great location, quiet for those looking for a place to relax. The rooms have basic amenities but comfortable enough.I highly recommend this place
Very clean, cosy, well located and beautifully decorated hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional with excellent customer service.
It was charming, very tranquil and cute. The hotel is 100 years old, but it's very well maintained. All the furniture and decoration feels original and it was a bit like time travelling. It has a sweet little garden and pool that also feels from another time. The staff were delightful.
The mattress was not very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, but could have more options, like eggs and bacon.
