Quinz - Locanda Al Lago

This was one of the most peaceful and beautiful places we stayed at in the Dolomites. I was initially going to stay in Cortina and I am very glad we did not. Waking up in the morning to the serene lake and mountains is a memory that will stay in my soul. Though it is a little out-dated; the one thing I wish we had was a fridge in the room, but it was very clean and nice. Probably one of the best places to stay at unless you are willing to pay an absurd amount of money which we were not. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The location was fantastic! In front of lake with plentiful parking spots. And very easy to go to trekking at nearby tre cime and it just next to a convenient store just across the street. Decoration was classical! Truly friendly staff who were available in specific time at the bar downstairs.

The heater was told to work normally but actually it was a little decrease in function, all facilities were a little old fashion with partially decrease in usability especially shower and sink.

The heater is not warm enough at start, the staff said it will automatically turn on when the temp is below 21, however, I thought the temp was freezing cold enough to turn on

Location is the best. Lake view is perfect.

Reception had much duty task in the 1st floor restaurant so no time to impress hotel quest. Anyway it is little point because we can explore by ourself.

wifi was slow & low signal on some of my devices, but probably because it has thick walls and remote location. Good enough for surfing the web though.

We were told that we need to pay seven euros each person for the breakfast as we arrived. And it was adequate and nothing spacial. We wish it was written when we booked the place.

Great location next to Lake Misurina with Lake view, also comfortable room for the group stay.

Nice clean large room overlooking the lake. Close to a lot of things

Our room with lake view was nicely decorated. Our balcony is facing Lake Misurina. Beds are comfy. The hotel was closed for movie shooting and they prepared a simple breakfast for us. We had lunch in the pizzaria and it was wonderful.

The location. Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Close to the Cadini and Tre Cime hikes. Great dinner at the restaurant. Friendly staff.

We actually had to take a hit and leave a day early. The beds and pillows were rocks! I couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep. No comfortable place to sit. Not enough pillows to lean on and sit up in bed. A hard metal chair was the other option. This really could be an outstanding hotel with a few tweaks. More (and softer)pillows. Better mattresses. A soft chair to sit on. The breakfast was stuff you could pick up at a gas station. It sustained life. Maybe the hikers and bikers are used to discomfort and don't mind these things, but it was a deal breaker for us. No attempt to refund or make amends when we had to leave early.

Not as comfortable as we would have liked, but we are picky. The breakfast was just okay, but we expected it.

It was a good location for out Tre Cime hike. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The pizza was delicious!

The included breakfast needs some improvement. It was just prepackaged food left in the room the night before. We didn’t eat any of it.

I loved the location right on the lake. The view from the balcony was amazing! Also the room was roomy and beautifully decorated, old fashioned but lovely. The restaurant below was wonderful too!

I like it all!
