Location, breakfast and staff

The bed is very old and uncomfortable, so I couldn’t sleep well. The soundproofing is also not good. The shower takes more than 5 minutes to warm up at the first time.

The views were great

Access was difficult and not recommended for people with mobility issues

Nice big room. Super view to the lake and at Locarno. Parking front of the appartement. Breakfast is very good. Nice staff.Very clean room and bathroom.

We arrived around 21:00 and the room was quite cold. (At the end of Sep...)No minibar... only an empty fridge with two bottles of water...

The decoration is tipicall old swiss with brown colors, should get a renovation in this location its worth goldAnd the coffee in the morning need big improvement it was awfull

The views are absolutely stunning! Bellavista is living up to its name for sure!

The beds are stuck in the 80s. Two small matteresses pushed together. A queen size bed would be more approriate.The waiters are kind of snobby and unfreindly - this would never fly in the United States when you pay for a service

Location. So scenic!! Lakefront and lovely flowers around! Simply a great place to stay!

Superb views from a beautifully sited hotel. Nice terrace with the room.Very good restaurant with ample room for inside and outside dining.Very good breakfast. Very helpful and communicative staff.Plenty of parking space. Shuttle for local trips

Great location with the views over the lake. Breakfast selection is really good, with local cheese varieties and home made jam. Nice rooms with comfy beds, aged but in good shape.

Tricky to walk in the area, especially in Autumn, since are around the hotel doesn't have sidewalks on the road.

The location is amazing and you have a great view to the lake from anywhere. The restaurant was also very nice and breakfast also! The staff was very nice and made us a package with keys and instructions, because of our late night arrival.

Basic and old furniture rooms. My single does have a strange smell and it was really hot without air conditioner. The rooms are very clean, though, but is not the value for the money I was looking for.

You cannot beat the view, especially from the upper rooms (one of our two rooms was #14, with a spectacular view)

The views are fantastic! It's a bit remote from the town to walk, but the area itself is very nice. They have great parking and a few nice restaurants. I really liked breakfast with the views.

The room was pretty basic, but it's a good value for money.

The accommodation was excellent with the balcony with an amazing view of the Lake MaggioreThe only thing I could suggest is air conditioning as temperature reaches 30c in summer

The breakfast was a disappointment, Very low quality of choice and ingredients They could revamp the complete breakfast buffet and could be a number one start of the day and a memorable breakfast that everyone remember.

Great choice for breakfast, very helpful staff, very good conditions in the rooms. I was with a dog and all was also very good adapted. All the experience was truly great ! The location is really good and the view is stunning!

I can't say a bad word.

- The location is amazing- The hotel is quite large and offers amazing views on the lake- The staff, specifically the lady at the reception were friendly and nice- Breakfast was good and had a few different items every day

- The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable.- The balconies on the ground floor are not private, they are shared with 2-3 other rooms.- The shower water pressure was quite low - There are too many mosquitoes, spiders and insects so if you have sensitive skin, don't forget to pack an insect repellent cream.- The furniture of the room was old - The toilet flush takes forever to fill up- There is free parking onsite but it is not that easy to find a free parking spot especially at night. - Most of the rooms require stairs, which can be difficult with heavy bags.- The road up to the hotel can be intimidating for novice drivers.

Wonderful location, amazing views. Comfortable rooms and a fabulous breakfast. The staff Remy and his team went above and beyond to help us park a difficult vehicle. Would definitely visit again. Thanks to all the team.

Very nice resort hotel located in Vira, a beautiful and peaceful town just 20 minutes from Locarno by ship. I strongly recommend the hotel to those who come to Ticino and Locarno for holiday
