Hotel Galant Mikulov

Great location. Easy parking. Comfortable bed and good size room.

It's a conference hotel, so it was larger than we had expected.

Great location right in the city centre. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good and had lots of options. The staff were very kind and let us use baggage storage prior to our check in so we didn’t have to walk around with our bags all day.

The cost of the hotel is really high and that is premised on the fact that they have a wellness centre and pool. The problem is that even though you are staying in the hotel you do not have access to the pool included in your stay. For a 2 hour pass to the pool and wellness centre (and you cannot split that visit up, you have to stay for the 2 hours straight) it is 500kč extra. That is a really high cost on top of an already expensive hotel if you want to access the hotel facilities. I understand if not all wellness is included in the cost, but not even being able to use the hotel pool in the middle of summer is brutal.

Our room was not completely finished with a renovation. No seating or table. Having a bathroom that is down several stairs within the room is not convenient and somewhat dangerous in the nighttime or after enjoying some local wine and beer. Parking should be a little more accessible for guests.

Breakfast up to 4 star hotel standard

Extra charge for the swimming pool. At booking one is lead to believe the facility in price. After payment you get information that it's not. To make it worse the swimming pool is part of the wellness centre, so forget that you take your kid for swimming when you arrive. (after 2pm)Regarding "exceptional cleaning" when you walk barefooted in the room your feet will get black ;)

I wish the Outdoor Jacuzzi can have more programs, also, they got smaller than before :(

Nice hotel, everything was OK, good location, comfy beds. Good restaurant, we had dinner with local food and beer.

There could be more choices of food at breakfast. Pillows were not comfortable.

NIce hotel in the middle of Mikulov, very close to everything. It has its own parking. The rooms are nice and clean.The breakfast was absolutely fantastic!!!!

The building is quite complicated, little bit confucing on the beginning.

Location and breakfast were great. Nice selection of food and attentive chef.

Reception staff's attitude could be better, for example every time we passed we had to greet first to be noticed and so on. No particular bad experience, but definately something shall be improved and is expected from such a hotel.

The restaurant offers good beer and food options for kids and adults. Breakfast food options ware great. It is very close to city center.

It wasn’t quite clear (or not at all) from the property description that you have to pay extra to access the pool area. The extra charge for that is almost 1/2 of a night stay!(FYI access to wellness is free if you book directly through the hotel’s website). I was kinda disappointed by this as this was the primary reason to pick this hotel and not any other.

Perfect location in the centre, parking spot, breakfast, restaurant

Definitely need air condotioning in the rooms. Hot summer days and nights are almost unbearable.Also we had a room above restaurant, so we can smell fried oil every day. Air cleaner would be also nice.Both rooms we had were above street or above restaurant, so with windows opened the nights were noisy. And with no air condotioning we cannot have windows closed. One more thing cosidering wellnes. It is a bit expensive. I understant the payment, but there is a little difference in payment for booking guests and the guests that are not accomodated. For hotel guests it should be cheaper.

The staff was amazing, very professional and friendly, especially in the outdoor restaurant and in the spa. The spa area is perfect for the location.

It's in a good location.

The rooms are old and not very well renovated. The air conditioning didn't work practically. The hotel was absolutely overcrowded. It was one of the most expensive hotels I stayed in when passing through Mikulov and, at the same time, one of the worst experiences. I would recommend avoiding it and choosing alternatives if possible.

This is not a 4 star hotel - very basic rooms, no A/C, someone else’s dirty underwear in our room.Spa is not included in the fee, Booking.com guests have to pay extra (not treated equally with other guests)

Great location and great view from the pool over the town.

Many things did not work out as expected.First, it was extremely hot in the room. While it was indicated in the listing that we would have a fan, the personnel never brought us one despite our repeated requests. Apparently, the fans were « broken » or « unavailable ». This is not acceptable given it must be hot every summer in Mikulov…Second, there are many parking spots reserved around the hotel for guests to use for free. However, it is apparently acceptable to ask guests to pay approx 10 euros per night to reserve a spot. We fortunately managed to find a spot every day but this policy is unfair.Third, the bed was just not comfortable at all. This level of comfort rather deserves 2 stars and not 4.Finally, several members of the staff were repeatedly unpleasant to us, lacking basic politeness.

Close to the centre

Our room without air conditioning heated up to over 30 °C. unbearable temperature at which it was impossible to sleep or rest. wanting to cool down and go to the pool, it turned out that for booking guests it is additionally paid. Breakfest very average. really expensive hotel in relation to the price.

The rooftop spa is such a fantastic experience. A must do if sunny. Great location and the hotel restaurant does good food.
