Hotel Albergo Milano

The location is perfect to visit Mendrisio and even quite close to Lugano. The train station is just a few steps away. The room was clean and meet my expectations. The breakfast is also quite decent and fresh.

Not that much. It has a great balance of quality and cost.

This hotel is exceeding my expectations, especially after the previous B&B))Great location, right at the railway station, but quiet enough. Looks new and modern inside. Very clean, nice new furniture, everything works, all in order. Big shower, all super clean. Big comfy bed, pillows. Nice paintings, adding some brightness and mood. Great views, big windows, with shutters. Air conditioning works great and you can change it all or turn it off.Breakfast is nice, fresh and tasty. The choice not big, but definitely enough.Service is nice and fast.Don't forget to get your free Ticino ticket if you need it.There's a nice restaurant in the hotel, but they served only pizza Sunday evening, which was still nice.Pleasant walk to the old city center and view points.Would stay here again, highly recommended))

Nice room, good place and nice breakfast. The hotel staff is welcoming and attentive. No noise, wifi perfect.

Room and bathroom were modern and clean; just next to the train station; price was rather high; nice view from the sixth floor

The rooms are clean and big, and breakfast was good as it should be for a 3 star hotel, one of the hotels that is up to its stars. I would recommend it

only it was next to Foxtown which i gave the fast access to there

breakfast doesn't worth paying for it they have only pork chops and boiled eggs and 2 types of chess and 1 type of bread and if you ask them to make it for you fried eggs, for example, they tell you you have to pay 15 Euro extra and if you tell them that you have booked their room included the breakfast they will tell whatever on the table there is our breakfast anything eals you have to pay for it, and also they charged me extra charge for car parking and i saw the regular people park their car there with no charging and i think its not their car parking but they charged me for nothing.

Functional, clean, all needed was there.

Clean property, we stayed with one newborn baby and a 5 years old, very comfortable and nice staff! Near to the train station, big room with all the facilities. Thanks !

Overall, my stay at the hotel was excellent. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to the breakfast. (i.e wider selection of cheese, cold and hot veggie dishes and maybe, offering a selection of local or regional specialties that could add a unique touch to the breakfast experience).

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Nice hotel lounge (6th floor) with greeat view. Excellent restaurant.

HOTEL:The principal choice of the hotel was because of the swimming pool to keep my personal trainings and arriving at the hotel the big deception was that the swimming pool was not accessible :(Smell of cigarets at the entrance and entering the restaurant :( extremely bad)ROOM:Vis à vis - people could see inside my room and I could see their balconies and activities inside their homes which was not comfortable at all.Too much noice: people taking loud in front of my door, children’s, 5 doors around my room slamming constantly until 01:00 am and from 06:00am, not possible to have a good sleep.

Good equipped room, good bed and fast Internet made the stay very comfortable.

Breakfast was ok, good coffee but no one was around for questions or in case something was missing on the breakfast buffet.

Practical location, opposite the station. Very spacious room with huge bed and sofa. The room and bathroom were modern. All rooms are on the sixth floor, and there's a lounge area with panoramic views.

Went down for breakfast at 7.45 am to find one set table (the others were occupied or needed clearing). Many items needed replenishing (I guessed there had been croissants, since I could see the rest on the dirty plates) but no waiter appeared until someone went to get him at 8.30 am to fix the coffee machine. I'm guessing he was simultaneously working in the hotel café. I cobbled together a breakfast with what I could find, but this let down an otherwise good stay.

Location to station and foxtown was great.

The bathrooms were not 'clean'. The wall sockets for power were unique but the reception had adapters available for CHF12!!
