Hotel Post

Were here for the third time. The hotel is in the city center, nice location, magnificent view of the mountain from the dining area. We stayed one night only, as we were on a stopover. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. One gets a complimentary 1 litre bottle of sparkling mineral water in the room and a voucher for one drink in the restaurant, which we used, of course. The in-house restaurant is nice and cozy, and prices (considering Swiss levels) are OK. Breakfast had a wide variety of Swiss cheese, hot and cold food, and even an egg cooker with individual stopwatches was available. Overall very inviting atmosphere.

There is always something you could complain about. Nothing worth noting here.

The room was very spacious and offered beautiful views. The breakfast was just okish, but nothing special either. A short walk from the railway station. As a nice touch, they provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling water.

I had two single beds . I was disappointed to see that the bedsheet had visible marks/stain.The sheet looked like it had already been used. It really took away from what could have been a much better stay. (see attached photos) Overall, the hotel has potential, but attention to cleanliness needs improvement.

Amazing place in Sargens. Good for 1-2 days. One water, one drink and breakfest included. Food at restaurant was also good.

Finding the room is difficult

The Hotel was functional and in a good location. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner. When we arrived we were told that the table was already booked and that we would have to dine in a soulless room upstairs. Having looked at this room, we declined and went elsewhere. The staff were particularly frazzled due to a carnival, but this shouldn't have happened and was not well dealt with. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming the following morning, so perhaps they did us a favour.

The showerhead was rather an intense massage device. It had a dense array of extra thin jets so that these felt like needles.

The hotel is well-located (close to the train station, convenient for a day trip in Liechtenstein), and the view is amazing. It's a traditional Swiss accomodation (hotel + restaurant) - proper and organized. Spacious room/bathroom and interesting shower.

The hotel is a bit pricey for what they offer (breakfast was okayish, the bed was not very comfortable, and the halls were somewhat noisy with the doors).

Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast, one bus stop away from Sargans station and 20 mins by bus from the Pizol cable car station. Coop supermarket just across the road. Welcome drink was a very nice touch

The cigarette smoke from the bar leaks into the lobby, they also don't have a dedicated luggage storage area (they did arrange for us to deposit it in the restaurant)

Good location, next to the railway station

Clean, fresh, big enough room. Interesting rooms planning : we had to go through dinning room to come to our apartment

Sef Service Buffet Breakfast included in the rate was ample, healthy & hearty.Overall, it served it's purpose, and was very good value for money, in view of equivalant hotel rates in Switzerland.Quality double glazed bedroom window which well insulated all outside road traffic noise.

Room was somewhat basic with dated furnishings and a very small TV.Cumbersome method of reaching the bedroom on the first floor, having to walk through the breakfast room and various function areas.

Convenient location for one evening. Clean, large room.

Check-in was a bit abrupt. Staff were not welcoming.

This is a fantastic hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and great food! A highlight was the breakfast - it’s one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel! It’s located a short walk from the bus/train station and there’s also a convenience store opposite if you want to buy any snacks. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

Nothing - everything was great!This wasn’t an issue for us and I’m not marking anything down but its worth mentioning so other people are aware - although the listing mentions an airport shuttle, there isn’t actually one available (its really easy to get there by train from Zürich airport anyway)

location is superb for Sargans and for touring - the breakfast was excellent and served in a magnificent hall

The efficiency of the whole operation. The large breakfast room might appear full, but we never had to queue. Room cleaning teams were prompt, thorough and fast.

One or two smiles would have been welcome.Occasionally, we had to ask for refills of the breakfast buffet.Our bath had a severely leaky plug.

Location is perfect in walking distance from the station and opposite the bus stop. The breakfast was superb with more Swiss cheeses than Ive ever seen and the location was very quiet
