Leivatho Hotel

Very beautiful location . Surrounded by plush greenery and flowers. The suite we had it had such an amazing view. Very clean and the bed so comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of variety and everything so tasty. The stuff was very friendly.. we definitely recommend that resort.

Nice property, beautiful view.

The facilities and service was decent, but terrible administration. I was very disappointed about the way management failed to handle the registration( check in and out) The fact is that the front desk failed to collect payment at check in or at check out. It was the responsibility of the front desk to ensure all charges were covered. Besides, when I booked this reservation BOOKING registered my credit card and they should have taken payment from there. Instead, the manager/owner showed up at the airport with the police to collect payment. That could have been prevented if the front desk had asked for credit card upon check in as is standard practice at hotels I have used. That was embarrassing. I will never use this hotel again!

Room was exceptionally big and provided, besides a comfortable bed, a small sitting area, nice terrace, a kitchenette we could prepare coffee early in the morning. Room was tidy, cleaned each day, and a problem detected in the toilette , was taken care of in a matter of minutes.Breakfast was more than satisfactory, nice assortment of ingredients, served in a lovely area inside and outside the dining roomBeach was nearby, reachable by foot or by car- sloppy road leading to the beach which is , like most beaches, rocky.The hotel runs a nice shop with modest prices similar to those in regular storesOne of the hotel 's greatest assets is its staff- friendly, knowledgeable, very attentive and willing to assist- should be recommended: Angelina, Maria, Nikos and Takos but all the other employees as well.Place had in total an atmosphere of tranquility which affected the way we breathed

The road leading to the hotel should be fixed so that the angled slope is less sharp but I am not sure it is the hotel' s responsibility

Breakfast and the room were very nice, clean and enjoyable. The hotel personel were always helpful and nice. It was a nice stay overall.

The concierge services weren't good. I had an injury with my foot and the taxi that was supposed to pick us up from a winery didn't wait even 3 minutes and didn't call us. When I called the hotel about it, they said the taxi driver called them to notify she is not waiting. The hotel concierge didn't call us to verify and we were stuck there 20 minutes. They couldn't find us a transport and the winery employees, when saw us waiting called a taxi that picked us up in 2 minutes. When I called hotel to inform, they reacted like they forgot about us and our taxi.We also wanted to do a boat trip. The concierge asked for half hour because they were busy. After an hour, I asked again and they called somewhere and said all boat trips we want are sold out and they offered a super expensive sunset trip which we were not even interested in. It took me 2 minutes of googling and a whatsapp message to find a boat trip exactly as we wanted to do. Being in a remote-ish location (closest supermarket was 1 km+ away), I'd expect the hotel to have some snacks to serve. There was a menu but when I asked, apparently the kitchen was closed in the afternoon so you couldn't enjoy a snack on the poolside or in your room. They also didn't have any packaged chips or any food.

I simply love here.Very clean ,the STAFF very friendly the beach few minutes away.Restaurants around very good food.STRONGLY RECOMMEND ..5 STARS LOCATION And HOTELJUST WAIT TO COME BACK AGAIN

Piped music in restaurant and around pool too loud and intrusive Sign on reception on arrival say credit cards will be only taken in traveler's own currency (i.e. not Euros) very annoying - not prepared to pay such a surcharge - so didn't bother using hotel bar or restaurant

Beautiful property with amazing staff. Our stay was very enjoyable. We loved the breakfast and staff were very helpful with recommendations. We loved Kefalonia and we will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect - beautiful views of the coast and easy access to a beautiful beach which we later found listed on tours from the north of the island. The staff were charming, very professional and always helpful. The selection of food and drink was excellent too. Our flight had been delayed so our arrival was much later than expected but the warm greeting and complimentary glass of wine by the owner was really appreciated.

Possibly more places to sit in the shade when temperatures were high. But this is a minor issue.

Beautiful surroundings and lovely spacious rooms. Nice friendly staff, great breakfast and the restaurant is excellent for dinner.

The place has a modern aesthetic which I really appreciated. Breakfast was great. The pool area was in a lovely setting. The location of the hotel is interesting, about a 5 minute walk downhill to a Blue Star beach with 2 restaurants on the way. Parking was easy and they have a lending library of books. Sufficient gym to get a run or cycle in. Also has a ping pong table. Make sure you have a car to get around unless you know you want to just stay put.George the manager greeted us upon our arrival and bought us a round of drinks. Nice touch!This place is also away from a crowded strip of hotels and restaurants that are on the north side of the airport.

It was really hot during our stay so they could've air conditioned the reception/breakfast area which was a decent place to hang out since it had a bar. The only option to be in airconditioning was in our room. When it's over 40 degrees Celsius it would've been nice to go somewhere to read our just be "out" without having to retire to the room.

The staff were exceptionally kind and warm hearted. The rooms were nice and the breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. There were beach towels on request and the host himself welcomed us with a welcome drink each. One night he also sat to us and told us about his exciting life and adventures which was amazing.

The air conditioning in the junior suite wasn’t great at cooling down the space. Other than that, everything was great.

The property location was perfect for us. We could walk to the beach and 3 restaurants were within 10 minutes walk. It was also great to go to the Winery Sarris for a wine tasting, which is 5 minutes walk which was really enjoyable.Breakfast was great, fantastic choice and variety. We also had a couple of lunches that were great. We had a suite which was fabulous.

I think a few extra sunbeds could help

Very nice view! Nice swimming pool, easy to park, good food for a fair price, friendly staff, ok gym. Quiet area, was very relaxing off season early June. Easy access to the airport and to the capital by car

Bed linen not super confortable, swimming pool opens too late (10h30-11h00). Bedroom good enough but not super cosy for a 4star hotel. WiFi connection not always good
