One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever hadI’ve stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, but Thalassa Boutique Hotel truly stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The quality of service, the cleanliness, the attention to detail—everything was impeccable. The staff were absolutely wonderful: kind, smiling, helpful, and always ready to go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.What made this stay truly unique was the feeling of being genuinely cared for. In many luxury hotels nowadays, even the expensive ones, there’s often a sense of everything being tightly calculated or restricted. You feel like you’re being pushed to spend more or that every amenity has limits. That was absolutely not the case here. Everything felt generous, thoughtful, and natural. They would bring fresh water to the room without being asked, the rooms were spotless, and the entire atmosphere was one of relaxed luxury.And the breakfasts… they were absolutely incredible. Different every day, delicious, fresh, and clearly made with love and pride.Considering the level of service and the quality of the overall experience, the value for money was outstanding. Thalassa Boutique Hotel deserves more than five stars. It’s the kind of place where you feel that every euro you spend is worth it.I cannot recommend it enough. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay.

Location is stunning with beautiful views over the bay. The rooms are very tasteful and lots of space.

The only thing I would suggest is that breakfast is not really up to par with the rest of the hotel. Having eggs cooked to order would be a plus, or extending the fruit range.

The location and view was beautiful, and we could walk out from our back door to the pool. The lovely breakfast is included. It is within walking distance of Costa Costa Beach and a short drive from shopping and restaurants in Argostoli. We loved our stay!

The hotel is nice. village vibes. kefalonia has beautiful sites to offer. a car is a must

Before my arrival, I sent an email asking for recommended restaurants nearby, but I never received a response. When we arrived, we discovered there was a nice Greek evening event at the hotel — but it was already fully booked. If they had replied to my email, we could have known about it in advance and made a reservation.We came to celebrate our anniversary, as I mentioned in our booking. Unfortunately, none of the staff acknowledged our occasion, and there was no small gesture or greeting in our room to mark it.After we left, I realized some cash was missing from my wallet. I emailed the hotel asking them to check the security cameras near our room, but I haven’t received any reply to this either — not even an apology or a courtesy message.As a former hotelier, I expected a much higher level of service, attention, and respect for guests. Sadly, this experience was both disappointing and unprofessional.

Lovely boutique hotel. Great rooms, nice pool area, amazing service levels, top quality breakfast and the restaurant was great.

The gym is a bit basic

The staff, cleaning and accomodation! The breakfast also was quite good ?

The noise from the toilet pipes. Was quite loud. And our neighbour upstairs one of the nights was throwing up all the time. So that toilet was flushed loads.

Nice pool and sun-beds and the restaurant is very nice

The general atmosphere is not very warm and the reception staff is very cold, they could be more welcoming and proactive.

Great location looking out to sea. Lovely room was very kindly upgraded. Everything is clean with a newly feel Very comfy bed. Staff are very professional while having a relax vibe. Really enjoyed my stay. The food was really good too.

They are building below so walkng to small beach isn’t the most attractive site.but no big issue.

The air conditioning system in two rooms where we stayed was uncontrolled and operated at a constant temperature at maximum power without the ability to change it.

What a wonderful place, I liked the restaurants, the staff are very kind and help ass to program our trip in Kefalonia, the advised us about the beaches and restaurants and was an excellent choice

Beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Well designed spaces, both for indoor and outdoor enjoyment. Friendly staff, particularly those at the restaurant. Great facilities, particularly the rooms with shared pools. However, the main pools are beautiful too.

It was great to have some visits from friendly cats, but it would be nice if they could take them to the vet and care for them a bit. They add that extra warmth to the place, I hope they get the attention they need.

The hotel is quite a good location for a few beaches and close into Lassi and taxi ride away from Argostoli centre. Nice pool area and towels provided even though it states they are at a charge. The Spa lady was lovely and very good. Good prices for the massages. Lots of water and coffees provided in the room.Nice beach which is around 5/10 minutes walk from the hotel.

The food at dinner was not very tasty. Best just to stick to authentic food. The staff were friendly but could be more attentive. There were a lot of birds nests which do cause for a lot of dirt on the stairs and around the pool. Need to look at adding more moveable parasols around the pool area as a lot of areas got very hot and the seats provided get to hot to lie on. For the price we paid we expected at least a pick up from the airport but were told this was another €30 each way. Our toilet seat was broken for the whole stay and quite a few times there was no hot water in the room.With a new hotel being built right in front a lot of noise did start being made early on in the morning and the walk up to the hotel had a lot of rubbish lying around. Would help to add some lighting on the road to the reception.

The rooms are really great. well equipped and top notch . air con very good . The restaurant food was very good and wine was good
