The staff have very good service mind, the location is perfect.

I stay at the house.There is not tissue paper hanging, they paper on the wash basin.

The restaurant was great. We had an antipasto appetizer with a whale carpaccio. We had formented shark in Iceland and it was bad. The whale tasted good.

If the hotel could have controlled the rain, it would have been better but the service and facilities were great.

Clean and quiet room. Got an upgrade to a better room. Good restaurant. Great breakfast. Employees are friendly and helpful. A lady gave us some tips about where to watch the northern light.Lucky us, we saw the northern light for the first time!

Wonderful stay! We were able to reserve a hot tub for the 4 of us for a very reasonable rate. There is also a spot to jump in the water during the hot tub rental! Very nice restaurant on site and bar. Room was roomy and comfortable

My wife and I stayed there two nights in July, 2025. It's a quiet and beautiful hotel, probably the only hotel in this village. We are happy that we can stay in such a beautiful and comfortable hotel in this remote and quiet place. Highly recommend to those people who will go to the north of Senja.

Friendly staff and beautiful location. They have very nice restaurant onsite with good breakfast and dinner. There are several places to go fishing from shore.

Clean, comfortable, great staff, nice setting. Stairs to reach the rooms in main building just FYi and room small but if you have higher expectations, think about your expectations as this is comfortable and unique place in beautiful setting

This place was fantastic! The view in all directions was so incredible. The rooms were clean and bright and the bed was comfortable. Staff downstairs were excellent - friendly and helpful.

Beds a little stiff, but that’s a personal preference.

The room was small but clean and confortable. The location, Mefjord, and the roads lead to there is just amazing. It has easy access to many trails and amazing views.

They changed our booked room to a different one so the check-in process was not smooth as it should be.

Nice restaurant, bar and spa

This cabin is the most impressive and my favorite accommodation during my trip to Norway. It is fully equipped and offers a great view and scenery. The cabin I booked has four beds.When we returned from the strong winds outside, the warm kitchen and cozy lights made us feel very safe and comfortable. The bar downstairs serves excellent venison, which was a completely new and exciting culinary experience!The nearest supermarket is a short drive away, and it’s also a fantastic place!

The location is wonderful. Room is quite compact but okay. Breakfast is appropriate.

Staircase is quite small to carry large bag.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, you can book a private sauna, you can borrow ski and snowshoes, dinner was very tasty. I would come again! Thank you!

Best location for photographyThe location is very good with views of the sea in front and mountains in the back. If you are a photographer... the wide yard can be a good spot.

We stay at Torleif Stua (second floor) with 3 bed rooms.There is no heating in the bedroom, only in the living room. All the bedroom is very cold, so you have to be ready to sleep using all winter equipment...Kitchen equipment looks like it needs to be updated and equipped. Almost all of the spoons and forks that I used were damaged, some even fell off. No scissors, kitchen tissue, etc. The stove is also old...it takes a long time to heat food

What a great time in Norway and your place was one of our favorites. Getting up in the morning and looking across the fjord to Senja and Hesten was amazing then the breakfast was wonderful. The apartment was clean and well supplied.

I was very disappointed in the additional charge for the hot tub. I am not used to having additional charges for use of a hot tub on the grounds. Oh well that was a bit of a disappointment. Being right next to a fantastic mountain guide service was an unexpected bonus.

The owner is very nice and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable.
