Hotel Herceg

This is my second stay at this hotel and I love it. I love Medjugorje.

There was a smell of sewage, but I also smelt that randomly around town.

The staffs are very helpful in helping to arrange local taxi driver to Sarajevo to hotel

I like the location and kindness of the receptionist and the waiters ....Breakfast was excellent....Room is always clean ....

A nice, cosy hotel. Very warm and welcoming. Parking accessable, close to the center, but far enough to have some peace. Staff was very professional and kind.

It would be nice to see more variety at breakfast for guest that do not eat pork. It was ok for 2 nights, but it would be repetitive if we stayed more. Perhaps some more amenities in the rooms (e.g. slippers, hygienic accessories etc.) would make a stay excellent. TV signal was not so good for many channels.

Staff was so kind. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

The location is at the wrong position if you would like to go to the apparition hill, cross hill, etc. Even to the church took you 10-15 min to walk.

Location is very near the center and very nice front desk staff. Kudos to Mario who drove us to Dubrovnik airport

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Herceg. Staff was very nice and polite. Rooms were clean and spaceous. Breakfast was great. Food was fresh and local. The waiter came to our table and gave us a plate of homemade prosciutto as a gift. Hotel’s location is great. Hotel is located near the Church of Saint Jacob - 7 min walk. Store, bakery, caffe bar are all next to the hotel.

Scent in the hotel was nice but it was too strong in the rooms.

Breakfast is really nice and good. Plenty to choose from. Free parking is available and it is safeguarded. Location is also ok, 7min walk from the church.

I was really disappointed with the quality of the mattress. Practically it is impossible to get a quality sleep. It is terrible, your body practically drown and it becomes hard like a wet sand. I don't understand the owner not willing to invest in bad and mattresses. Your are hotel, people come here to sleep over so get the best mattresses.

Comfortable room with friendly and helpful staff

Breakfast is disappointing with hot foods often cold even early in the morning.

Liked the rooms, they were very comfortable. And the hotel was centrally placedl

The breakfast offering was very poor, but it would take such little effort to make it right. The hot food was very cold and not at all inviting. Keeping the Bain Marie under the dishes lit would help keep them hot. Also, the content of the trays should be monitored and when the food starts to look congealed, it should be removed and replaced with more hot fresh food.Also perhaps a toaster for the bread should be provided.

Excellent breakfast and nice staff.

The bed was not as comfortable, but for a night or two it is okay.

Breakfast is not good enough . Not much food to eat . Only egg as warm item

The staff were absolutely amazing went above and beyond, so very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful buffet breakfast, very centrally located.

Super friendly and honest staff. Great location surrounded by supermarkets. Only 8 mins walk to St. James church. Clean room. Free parking.
