Super friendly team at the reception,the spa,the restaurant. Hyper quiet rooms.food was excellent both for breakfast and for dinner. We had a super break and strongly recommend it!!!

Toilet paper too thin,more toiletries would be nice ie shoe cleaner,perfume,creams. Something in the mini bar like a bottle of water!!!

The location the room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable. The SPA and pool was lovely..

The hotel is a bit tacky it seems that he had better days and it needs proper makeover.The amenities is very dull !Only shampoo and shower gel and no body lotion even upon request.No help with the luggage’s.

A beautiful winery converted hotel surrounded by golf courses and vineyards, very friendly staff and excellent restaurant . Ideal for relax and visiting neighbouring wineries

Our room was very comfortable. The beds were great. It was beautifully quiet and we slept well. The hotel is very grand and we got a good last minute price for a room.

I got lost! There is no signage and lots of corridors of rooms. It was dark and I couldn't find my way to the bar to get a drink. It turns out I had to go outside and back in. The place is huge and sprawling, not exactly intimate. I'm not sure it would be suitable for someone with a disability as its too big and difficult to get around. The carpark was also badly lit.

The room was very spacious, with very comfortable beds.The dinner at the Brasserie du Golf was very good, with an excellent pre-fix three course meal. The wine list included several grand cru classe wines from Margaux, from which we chose one to enjoy with our meal.Service was excellent.

This Hotel is really in the middle of all the famous Margaux vineyards area. The area is very countryside and peaceful, the photos of the property on my early morning walk reflect the french feel it maintains . It surprised me that there was no barrier to walk thru the vineyards. As it is a bit of distance from the main road. I would recommend this place only to those who have a car as it is a bit far out of town to reach and transport options, it would definitely appeal still to those who are Golfing or doing road tours. The Hotel & its Estate is very dated and tired and in need of major renovation. It felt like stepping back to the 90s. Upon arrival we were advised that the restaurant was going to be closed for the evening and we did a quick booking and managed to get in to a fabulous local restaurant that night, other guests did not realise and turned up looking for meals were turned away. Rooms were very large and spacious, high ceilings it was clean, included towels and slippers. Lovely views from room. Good bed & air conditioning.I did not get a chance to spa but did look at the pool and decide otherwise as did other guests. Staff spoke English friendly and check in process was efficient.

Misrepresentation of the restaurant facilities, the amenities offered on Booking. com did not reflect the standard expected. Although it shows the restaurant is closed this is misleading, it is Permanently Closed!! Food offered was good but not in keeping with the cafeteria style dining area. As the facilities are mainly for golfers, open doors, and the close proximity to water there was an abundance of flies. Breakfast choice very limited. Premises are not in a good state of repair, certainly not as shown on the website. Grounds are untidy, the driveway needs major repairs. Lift was inoperable and had broken glass panels.

Very quiet location, wonderful view, amazing river. Splendid cuisine! Congratulations for chef!

The hotel a little old-fashioned, but it doesn't disturb. With own character!

The room was fantastic. The room was large and very comfortable. The location was great with no major transport routes creating noise. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Lack of staff and a working restaurant. Understand why that it is difficult to resource after Covid but a real disappointment

Pool table and swimming pool. Very good sized rooms. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Perfect location for those with transport and nice surroundings of the golf course.

Worth being aware that to get into Margaux central, it's a reasonably long (though not impossible) walk. We had bikes and were fine.

The hotel is beautiful, on an amazing estate, very close to the river. The rooms are beautiful and the spa and swimming pool with warm water are amazing too. They also have a pool table which we enjoyed. Besides all this, the biggest impression on us was left by the staff, who were all beyond kind and helpful. Further than that, one time we returned to our room after a long day of wine tasting, and we found a surprise, a decoration of swans and hearts was waiting for us there, with rose petals and balloons. This really made our day and made sure we will return to Relais Margaux next time we are in the area.
