RIVIERA HOTEL

The staff, location, and rooms were all excellent. Breakfast was good, but unfortunately didn’t start until 8am so we missed it our last day. Parking is easily accessible in a public lot, 50m from the hotel.

The accommodations are basic but spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a family suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The sea view balcony was fabulous. The location is excellent - directly across the street from the beach. Breakfast was also basic but adequate. Coffee was delicious!

Little things that could have been easily repaired and needed attention. For example, a towel bar that was barely attached to the wall and therefore not useable. A shelf that needed adjustment which made it risky to use. A light fixture without a cover.

The hotel is rather old, rooms and facilities are tired, the free parking is “go and find some place on the public parking”, and you can’t even park in front of the hotel to get your suitcases out without blocking the traffic in the street.Proper beach is ~10 minutes away by foot, the one in front of the hotel is very small.

Great location with restaurants nearby and ocean view.

Family suite matrimonial bed had limited sea view. Wind blows doors closed and we got woken up early by slamming doors in the corridor.

Right on the beach and near the bars and restaurants (but not too close). Breakfast ok. Parking on street nearby.

Claims to be 4 stars but about 2. Very basic and colours a bit depressing. Felt like a Travelodge.

Happy to recommend the hotel. Nice sea views.

Superb location, polite staff, the room was nice (especially the beds!)

Breakfast could've been a bit richer and the inside of the rooms could use some attention - there was a big crack in the wall of ours. It didn't impact us at all and the room was still quite fancy, it's just something worth mentioning.

The hotel is super clean and tidy. Room was very comfortable, with good mattress. Really enjoyed the breakfast. The sea view is just outstanding. Definitely would stay again.

Nice staff ,great view to the beach

This is not a 4 stars hotel .simple room , not so comfortable…

Property was perfect for our stay on the way to Athens for a flight. It would have been great to have been able to stay longer. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely with an amazing view of the Gulf of Corinth. Breakfast was wonderful with everything you could want and served at your table. Coffee perfect too. Definitely a place to stay on your travels through Greece.

This is definitely the best village to stay in this region. The riviera was an excellent choice of hotel. Perfect room on the 4th floor with balcony and a sea view and a lovely terrace for breakfast. Easy access to the beach and a lovely promenade to walk along.. very reasonable cost good value for money

Everything was perfect wished we could have stayed longer

The hotel is in a lovely location in xylokastron, the staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful they really went above and beyond to be kind to us.

The hotel is very noisy, there seems to be very little sound proofing and you can hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms. The only way to close the room doors is to slam it shut so you can hear people slamming doors all day and night (really unhelpful if you have a napping baby) I'd avoid the first floor, we were on 1st floor and asked to move as it was so noisy.

The cleanliness was at its highest. And the room is spacious enough. We had even possibility to iron ourselves.

We could not see on the photos that there is a street between the hotel and the what the hotel calls private beach which was pretty much small.It was so loud that we did not have possibility to have a holiday we imagined. At 6.45 greek time, the party in the sea starts. 3-4 people with distance of 10-15 m start talking very loudly but still woke us up. This was the time we had to close the balcony door and start the AC, which was not also that pleasant. But otherwise it gets stuffy in the room. The breakfast was decent but expected more greek style: different sorts of cheese and olives. It is definitely NOT a place if you need peace. In the evening the balcony light was on for too long. Too expensive for what the hotel offers.

The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. I felt looked after. Clean and well organised hotel. Next to the beach.

Breakfast filter coffee was very weak. I had to buy coffee from the machine as the one served was very, very weak.I missed a small table and a chair in the room. I write every day and had to do it in the restaurant area instead.
