    Pros +

    • The apartment and whole building is made of stone and wood, loved the vintage and traditional architecture and atmosphere. The apartment was clean and tidy. The hotel had a lot of space if you want to hang out there. The breakfast is as amazing as it shows in the pictures. And of course you're inside the woods of Ziria, one of the most beautiful places in Greece.
    • The location of the hotel, gives you the feeling of the right mood. Large amount of parking. The whole place was totally as clean as you want it. The breakfast was plenty and the stuff were friendly and welcome, willing to support you in any case or any issue.
    • Charming hotel in a beautiful village, loved staying here, hope to be able to come back soon. The rooms are stunning and the view is spectacular. What a gorgeous region!

    Cons -

    • Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel. The only small personal note is that the shower felt a bit smaller than I would have liked, but that’s just my preference.
    • The pillows could be better, but that's really minor
    • The place is so well built so we were surprised to be kept up by a neighboured guest who were quiet loud till quiet late.

It was exactly what we hoped for- a beautiful classic ‘chalet’ feel. Staff were so lovely, breakfast was ample, recommendations to local restaurants was perfect. The view- unbeatable!

The place is so well built so we were surprised to be kept up by a neighboured guest who were quiet loud till quiet late.

The hotel's location and environment are truly enchanting, offering a unique experience of staying in a setting reminiscent of an 18th-century hotel. The charming atmosphere is complemented by a lovely fireplace, which is thoughtfully stocked with fresh wood every day, adding to the cozy ambiance. The view of the mountains from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, providing a sense of tranquility and connection with nature. The room was warm and inviting, with the bed being exceptionally comfortable—perfect for a restful night's sleep.

Access to the Hotel and Room: The access to the hotel and rooms was extremely difficult. Guests need to carry luggage up multiple rocky, slippery stairs across various levels, which can be very challenging, especially for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Additionally, the surrounding area’s roads are dangerous, with significant potholes and no barriers. I cannot imagine how hazardous it would be to drive in this area during snow-covered conditions.Bathroom: The bathroom was disappointing, with a very outdated design that seemed stuck in the past century. It lacked the modern amenities expected from a contemporary hotel.Lighting and Atmosphere: The lighting throughout the hotel was subpar. The yellow, low-luminosity lights created a dim and uninviting atmosphere. The stairs were particularly dangerous due to the poor lighting, and there were no electrical plugs near the beds. Additionally, some exposed cables seemed like a safety risk. It appears the hotel tried to create a vintage ambiance but instead ended up with an uncomfortable, poorly lit environment.Parking and Electric Car Charging: Although there was a parking lot available, there were no electric car charging stations, not even a basic Schuko outlet (even for a fee). This is a significant oversight, especially considering the increasing demand for such facilities.Cleanliness: The rock walls in the room appeared to be dirty and in need of good vacuuming. It’s important for hotels to maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure a pleasant stay.Breakfast: While breakfast was included in the price, the variety was limited and most of the food was cold. For a small additional fee (e.g., 5 euros), the hotel could offer a more diverse and higher-quality breakfast, which would likely improve guest satisfaction.

We liked the room the most. Spacy, authentic, nice view, and of course the fireplace! No need to mention it was clean.

If I need to find something to improve as a suggestion to the hotel, the breakfast could have a bit more cheese and ham. But like this, it was sufficient.

The room was really pretty! Some of the highlights for us: its traditional decoration, fireplace and the view to the pine trees and the nearby mountains from our windows.Although outside was chilly, in our room we were warm and slept comfortably. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet downstairs and the view from the dining room was breathtaking. It was easy to park outside the hotel and the gardens were really nice as well!

Shower cabin was small, not super comfortable for a tall person. We could hear the television from the room next to us (but maybe they had turned the volume really loud)

The view of this hotel is amazing, in a secluded location, away from noise. Beautiful view of the mountains and beer by villages. The rooms were very cosy and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful views of the mountains, the room was very comfortable especially with the fireplace right by the bed. Very romantic and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed there for more days.

Nice building, Nice room, Fireplace, Nice bed, Clean, Good Staff, Nice Breakfast and nice view from the breakfast area

Minor stuff - No real use for the 2-story room - the upper floor has no use, No view from our particular room, The TV placement was not comfortable to watch

Beautiful place built with rock on a hill with an amazing view of Trikala. When it was time for breakfast we realized that there was a variety to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. Moreover, the staff were very polite and helpful.

The room was not exactly what we were expecting. There were two beds but actually the one on the top floor was not for sleeping, perhaps only for decoration purposes. It was not made, there were no sheets and a bad quality mattress. Also, there were no toiletries in the bathroom. But other than that it was a great room.

The location was superb. A lovely rustic & charming getaway from the heat of the coast. The staff were warm & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were large & clean with outstanding views from the balcony! The beds were extremely comfortable & there was plenty of hot water. A lovely breakfast was included and it was plentiful enough to set us up for the day. Again, the welcome made it special

    Loved everything

Hotel staff: Excellent. Room: Excellent. Location. Excellent: Hotel decor: Excellent. Breakfast: Excellent. Room: Beautiful. Bedand bedding: Wonderful. A wonderful surprise. I have not visited this area of Greece before this was a wonderful "discovery". I had no idea there was an environment like the Alps, above Corinth. I am picky and I was amazed at the decor of the hotel, every aspect of the design of the rooms, all unique, and of the whole hotel was so pleasing and furnished with many antique pieces. An old world style hotel with all the modern conveniences. The staff were helpful and caring. The breakfast buffet, very good. (coffee could have been hotter, but they brought me a hot coffee when I mentioned it!) I needed to change the room assignment as my legs were hurting and could not easily climb the stairs to the loft bed. Not a problem. Excellent recommendation for a restaurant which was a 5 minute drive away. I will make plans to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay, even if it was just one night, it was so enjoyable and so economical, 5 star at such a reasonable price.

What an amazing hotel! We absolutely loved our stay there and will definitely come back in the future. Incredible views, beautiful facilities and very friendly/helpful staff. I haven’t stopped talking about this hotel to my friends and family. I highly recommend it ?

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location and have a great view of a wide vally. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. The room is very big and beautiful. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the village.

Lots of stairs with no elevator to the room.

    9MariaPosted on: 2-8-2024

Very nice hotel with excellent hosts and a chill vibe. Views from the common areas are amazing and the room itself was very good, equipped with a fireplace.

Sound proofing was a problem as we could hear the neighbouring rooms' alarm going off in the morning.
