Hotel Engel

Hotel Engel was clean, well kept and perfectly located for us during our drive from Spain to Germany. Having a restaurant for dinner and breakfast available was super convenient and the food delicious and high quality.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast was nice. They have 2 EV charging stations just in front of the entrance in the hotel parking. The hotel is in a very quite area and close to Europa Park. We arrived late after the check-in deadline but the staff still provided all the instructions for an easy self check-in and kept contact with us via WhatsApp until late at night in case needed. Thank you!

The pillows are not very comfortable and there is no elevator. But I believe they have a special lift for luggage in case needed. We did not use it.

very clean and large roomexcellent breakfastgreat food in the onsite restaurant for evening dinner

Very good location for a stopover (2 min from motorway). Family room is nice and spacious. Good restaurant. Advised to reserve a table since the restaurant seems to be popular with locals and can be full quiet fast.Tip for families: there is a playground 3-4 min walk from the hotel. Quiet handy after a long drive.

This place is awesome! Super clean with really friendly staff. It’s great for families, and the food is fantastic – breakfast and dinner are both a treat. Just a heads-up: dinner can take around 40 minutes to come out, so make sure you’ve got a little time to relax. Totally worth the wait!

An elevator is missing.

Breakfast is excellent, location is great 15 min from Europa park, very clean hotel and staff is very friendly.

Extremely clean, comfortable, quiet.

Staff at the reception should speak English or French, it was not always the case when we called.

Very comfortable and clean hotel convenient for a stopover near to the A5 motorway. Hotel was refurbished in the last year (since we last stayed) and better for it although we understood there is no longer a bar for drinks (restaurant only). Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Very good breakfast

a bar for drinks in the evening,

Great clean hotel in a lovely location. The breakfast was amazing!!! Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable.

No air-conditioning. It was 32°C when we were there and only thing to cool is was a fan. Can't really blame the hotel, but it was very hot at night.

EFFICIENT PERSONAL AND VERY GOOD BREAKFAST

PARKING

Excellent breakfast, quite location, comfortable room, close to highway, free parking.

Good location not far off the motorway and easy to get to. Perhaps not busy as we were able to get a parking space when we arrived just after 9pm. We were too late for the restaurant but were told they may be able to arrange something (which we declined although we did have a drink in the bar). The shower in the room was probably the best I have experienced in any hotel. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast also. Would certainly stay again

very very clean. small and easy to get in and out. staff very friendly. no fuss hotel but still very warm atmosphere

The location was perfect for us as it was only 10 minutes away by driving from the Europa park and very close to the Alcace townsThe breakfast was excellent! We also had a dinner at the hotel's taverna where the plates were also super. The rooms were very clean. They were cleaned up every day.The staff was always pleasant and smiley. It was also convenient for the people in wheelchair(!)

The WiFi was not strong enough in the rooms but worked well in the reception. So when I had to do sth important, I was going downstairs.

The breakfast and the easy electrical car charging. Very friendly personal and fresh room. Very dog friendly.

Good hotel, stayed for 1 night as a roadtrip stop between Italy and Netherlands, great location!

Only downside was that there was no airco in the room, and it was during a heatwave, so pretty warm ;)

nice rooms, very clean good beds. everything new and modern, good breakfast, close to highway. nice and friendly staff. Restaurant connected to the hotel was per.

all good!

I enjoyed this little stay, I wasn't expecting such a little hotel but by the end of the day it is a very familiar hotel. The moment I came in it felt like home not like in a hotel. It was very nice!Very close to Europa Park and Rulantica!

There wasn't much choice for breakfast, I'm lactose intolerant and I don't think they had much for me to eat, but I know they gave their best to please me!

Everything. The restaurant. The staff. The room. The shower. The bed. It was a very good experience. We reccomend.

We liked everything.I wish they had a shuttle to Europa park.

Easy to find and clean hotel. Very close to the Europa park

The restaurant was horrible noisy and poor service. I would never recommend to stay for a dinner. Such a noise is very difficult
