Vanilla Boutique Hotel

I left after my second night. Had pictures of incomplete construction and rusty shower facility, it was depressing. The balcony claim is totally false. The door that led to the 6 ins or less of balcony wasn't closing and it rained both nights I stayed. My driver was happy that I decided to leave the Vanilla.

Location is great... Self check in and check out is working perfectly.Room was clean.

it states : "hotel" on booking.com but there was no lobby, no reception. i didn't see anyone in the building. it is just nothing but an airbnb.the location is very far from the main attractions of the cityinsufficient water pressure in the showernon disposable slippers (which i don't believe hygienic)liquid soap in the shower has no quality and hardly comes outinsufficient water pressure in the showertowels are very small and thinny

A lot of parking places but it is a paid zone 2. Just need to organize better from the municipality!

Our room was very clean and thoughtfully arranged. The staff was helpful and kind, making sure the checking was smooth and offering excellent local tips. High recommendations

The slef check in was perfect option, it was easy in and out as we were traveling through Skopje and didnt stay up to long.

Lack of info on payment fee for the dog/parking. But we manageed it.

Great price and a nice location. Just a 15 minute walk from the Square! Freshly renovated, they had just finished redecorating when I arrived. Place looked like it was brand new!

It was really nice, easy check-in, pretty clean everything worked really good!

The shower had a dangerous scratch were we could cut a foot, fortunately we’ve been careful and nothing happened. The shower looses a lot of water from the bottom and the rug is not enough to clean we had to start using a towel to clean, we just don’t know if the showers there are all like this or is a problem of the hotel.

Hotel Seven where we were redirected was acutally very nice, friendly, flexible and comfortable. No idea about Vanilla Boutique hotel :)

Quality of the interior is excellent. Very cozy, comfortable flats. Coffee and tea is provided as complementary by the facility, it’s so nice.

Self check in is something I hate. The codes do not work, it’s hard to find contacts in that crisis…

The location is quite good and the room is big and comfortable.

The shower drain is terrible, the water would take ages to go down. That was the only big problem for me. You can’t leave your stuff there before check-in or after check-out but the managers are very nice and ready to help.

The whole point of a review is to give an unbiased opinion on your experience, so I will attempt to do that even though I did not stay at the hotel. I booked my room over a week in advance (and it would of been my third stay in this particular hotel). I specifically booked this location as it was 5 minutes walking distance from an event I needed to attend. I arrived at the hotel car park and immediately received a text message asking me if I would switch to a different hotel. I called the owner of the Vanilla Boutique (who was polite and apologetic) to find out what the problem was. He advised me they had an issue with one of the rooms and they needed me to move to their sister hotel in a different part of Skopje. The sister hotel was more expensive but they would of given it to me at the same rate and paid for my car parking - fair enough). Unfortunately for me this was terribly inconvenient because I needed to go back and forth from my hotel to the event every couple of hours. There would also be alcohol at the event I was attending so driving would not be an option. This would mean many taxis and inconvenience to myself and lost time. I explained to the owner that the location change was totally unsuitable for me. I ended up not taking their offer of the sister hotel and booked a room at the Limak hotel nearby (for four times the cost of the Vanilla Boutique). I want to be fair to the owners as they were polite and they tried to relocate me elsewhere, but, being as the only reason I booked this hotel was because of the location, this wasn't an option. I understand that from time to time unforeseen circumstances occur, but, I feel they could of offered to pay for my room at Hotel Limak or maybe relocated one of their other guests to the sister hotel so I could of been in the location I needed. It is very disappointing to book a hotel room and plan a stay and then to be told ten minutes before you check-in that all your plans need to change.

I parking near opposite Hotel and on next day on my car i found parking FINE!!! ((( but on site was written free parking place who living in hotel. For pay this i go for application where all on makedonian language and after i found one man on the street who help me pay this FINE!!! :(

The location was near the centre of the city. Check-in and check-out were easy with the digital system. They helped us with the transfer from the airport as we were arriving quite late.

The AC wasn't working properly when we arrived. Someone came to fix it, but still it wasn't really warm in the room.

The bed was big and comfortable, place was quite and close to the central. 0 human interaction for checkin and you are in your room in matter of seconds, great system, decent internet

The AC was problematic, TV wasn't fully wired up and didn't work. Toilet didn't have enough supplies.

Great location with an amazing bakery at the corner, easy to find with getting codes to access.

Quite expensive in comparison with other offers in Skopje. We definitely expected more. Room was pretty at first site, but not clean, we found bugs there :( Problems with payment as the hotel did not charge us in time.

First of all, the air conditioner was very bad. It did not heat the room so the day was very rainy so all Night we were cold.
