Great location and great food

As guest of hotel no guarantee parking even has security ramp.

The room was a good size and very well designed. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was decent but not very varied. The location was good. There was a good parking space.

Location is out of town, but for events near the Sports Center it's convenient.

For a hotel of 5 stars, I would expect better service. It started off on the wrong foot, we had to wait 20 minutes for the desk clerk to show up for the registration. The room had (what we thought) a welcome chocolate, that we later found out we had to pay for (it was not in the minibar, it was on the table). There was a printed notification on the lobby that the tap water was not drinkable for a few days due to construction works on the road, so we assumed the water on the table was on the house... we were about to exit the parking lot when the desk clerk came running to tell us we had to pay for the water too... It was a bit embarrassing, especially as we had already told him what we consumed from the minibar. Room Service was pricey and even though they assured what we ordered would be ready in 20 minutes, it was 45 minutes and 3 calls later that they knocked on the door. Overall, I've stayed at better places in Skopje for half the price.

I had had many stays. Rooms great and great restaurant.

The room cleaners should be made aware if a guest is only one night and come to clean after checkout. Twice the room cleaners wanted to come in before I checked out. This last time she knocked once and let herself in before I could even respond. I could have been standing there undressed. I would have been checking out soon. Your system should have something in place to let them know the guest has checked out.

What a fantastic hotel! Absolutely loved this place.First of all the building is superb, properly grand. The rooms were excellent, and everything oozed luxurious.Parking was at the front and didn’t cost us anything.Breakfast was superb, lots of choice in a really airy restaurant area.A bit of a walk to the centre though. A taxi costs about 5eu, so not too much.A word about the staff. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent! Wonderful selection and always hot. Good coffee selection. Check in was exceptional as was every member of the staff we encountered. Rooms were clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Loved having the electric kettle for hot water. Used it every day! If I travel to that area again, Aleksander Hotel and Spa is the only place I will stay. I did not get the opportunity to use the spa facilities, but I did have a look around and they are beautiful and spacious with much to offer. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable experience! It is a magnificent hotel with beautiful murals and decor!

Only thing my friends and I mentioned to each other was that the toilet paper rolls were small and quickly used up. With excellent room services it was never a problem, just gave a us a little chuckle.

Lovely rooms, exactly as shown on photos. Big bed, quite comfortable. Food was reasonably priced.

- No room service on Sunday, even though there should be due to issues with staffing.- Towels were taken away but not replaced, which is not something you expect from a 5* hotel.- Duvet cover had a lipstick mark.- Breakfast buffet options were quite limited and the croissants were a bit stale.

It was good stay for New Year. Very professional staff at front office and bar. Good choice of food for breakfast but very soon everything disappearing. Excellent lobby. Candy for welcome.

Everything was really good, beds were comfortable, nice lobby, breakfast was nice, big variety of food. Spa and pool was good.

Location is a little further from city center. Spa worked only until 9pm.

Usually my trips to Skopje are on one day and i visit hotels in the centre alone. First time in this hotel, but i will come back for sure. I liked the calm athmosphere,the perfect lobby. Staff is professional and polite. I had some issue with my car and they solve it in a minute. Overall, nice experience. Thanks a lot.

Nice old school hotel. Elegant and warm, as 5 star hotel should be. Lobby is excellent, fountain with plants around, piano.Modern SPA, polite staff, well furnitured rooms.

Always, when i need to book hotel for my friends or busssiness partners, my first option is Aleksandar Palace. Here i am sure that they will be hosted properly. Everything was Ok, as always.

Room was very spacious. Nice selection in the minibar. Staff is very friendly. Very comfortable beds.

The bathroom needs some attention. Some cleaning residue on the walls and there's some molds forming. Nothing big, but for a hotel of this value I don't expect this.

Clean and space rooms.

Breakfast must be better, for this hotel it must be much better. Showers must be in the room not so deep tub.
