    Pros +

    • Nice and comfortable room. Very polite and helpful staff, who helped with requests (about pillows for example). The hotel is walking distance from the centre, although surrounded by a building site at the moment.
    • Cleaning is really greatLocation will become soon one of the best once the new diamond shopping center will be opened
    • The hotel showcased moments of brilliance. Notably, the impeccable service provided by Dragan and Branimir during our meals made those occasions memorable. The massages we received offered superb relaxation, and the breakfast, which provided local and international flavors, was consistently delightful. The hotel’s aesthetic, characterized by sophisticated interiors, was commendable.

    Cons -

    • The lighting in the room was poor, with no good reading lights by the bed (attractive lamps but not good). The pillows were very high and hard, but when I asked, I was provided alternatives. The TV has only local and Turkish channels, apart from just one international news channel - knowing how many different satellite packages that are available in the country, maybe something additional could be included.
    • Breakfast not super as expected by a five star hotel but acceptable
    • Positioned as a luxury 5-star establishment, our experience was more aligned with a 3-4 star rating. The essence of luxury lies in nuances, and there were evident gaps. The dinner ambiance was compromised by the boisterous conversations of some waiters. Room cleaning seemed superficial, as evidenced by the dirt in the whirlpool and the streaked shower glass. Mold spots, a damaged mirror, and other maintenance glitches were causes for concern. The process of seeking compensation after flagging three separate issues within a day was taxing, especially when the offered compensation—a mediocre wine and some fruit—missed the mark. Smaller details, from paper napkins to the feel of the bathtub and the limited TV offerings, further diminished the luxury aura. Considering this review, a standard room appears a more appealing choice for future stays.

The rooms were very big, spacious and clean. I liked that there was a good working desk and the internet functioned well.

The hotel seems not to be quite finished yet. There was a side entrance that looked like it was still a construction site, I was trying to work from my room but the drilling noise was constant. The entire area surrounding the hotel is one big construction site. The sidewalk is not passable as there are dug up holes and construction material on it. Since there are many big buildings being constructed right next to the hotel, one has to walk around the enormous construction sight and thus the walk to the center is significantly longer. What I did not like was the inflexibility of the staff. I opened a pack of almonds from the mini-bar and was immediately repelled by the rancid smell of the nuts. They were clearly spoiled. I told the receptionist about this and even brought the almonds with me for them to see. Their response was quite cold and unfriendly. The expiry date on the packaging was still OK and thus they did not see a problem. I had to pay for the almonds that were clearly gone bad.

The location close to the center. The room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast plenty of choices.

    9PieterPosted on: 10-5-2023

Nice spacious rooms. Great breakfast with lots of choices, breads, eggs, hot and cold dishes but also yoghurts and fruits and perfect that you can also sit outside with a view on Mt Vodno. Nice gym with free bottles of water. Close to the center. Welcoming cookie on entrance.

It’s a bit strange that staff locks the minibar if you say you won’t use it.

Excellent front of house staff; Ivan is an asset to them and one of the best I’ve come across, as well Dino. Great 5th floor terrace with wonderful views over the mountains and you can breakfast, lunch or evening cocktails enjoying the sunset. Location great but a lot of construction taking place but should add more to the area when completed.

Breakfast was not 5 star; very poor if any vegetarian options.. asking to have crêpes as an alternative was met with a firm no. My brother who has eggs loved the trash made to order omelettes. But overall this aspect really needs upgrading to be considered a modern 5 star especially as it’s so easy for them to do with local dishes. However staff were lovely. Also, they need to put travel stuff, tissues etc in every room - it doesn’t make sense not to have this as standard. Finally so much more could be made of the SPA - a bit more attention would make it better.

room good size and clean. breakfast quality good.

Noisy building work and banging on first floor room. Prevented sleeping.

The hotel was very nice and clean.

The beds were super hard and not nice to sleep on.

Nice and pleasant staff at reception and in the restaurant at dinner. Interesting design of bathrooom, enough space in the room.

In a five-star hotel, I expect mainly peace and comfort, which did not happen because there was a noise coming into the room from the busy street, and in the early morning there was also a noise coming from the fifth floor, where they were probably moving furniture either for breakfast or in the conference room. There were no glasses neither in hotel room (not possible to drink something from minibar - only from bottle) nor in the bathroom. On TV were only macedonian or turkish TV channels - so probably there are expected only visitors from North Macedonia or Turkey.

I particularly liked the staff. The front desk staff were professional and helpful. Young man by the name of Nikola was very helpful, especially when I could not find the light switch above the TV.The hotel is clean, and the breakfast food was very good.

There was no shower cap in the shower and no air conditioner in the shower itself. The towels could have been whiter (they yellowed over time). I expected this as it is a five-star hotel. The hotel room carpet and in the hallway was not properly vacuumed. When I returned to my hotel room, there was smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. The staff in the breakfast room were chatting among themselves and a young man with tattoos, who also spoke Turkish, was picking the food with his fingers and eating. Also, a staff member came over to ask me for my hotel room as I was eating, thus interrupting my breakfast. She should have asked me that at the dining room entrance.

It's a new hotel and very clean.

There wasn't a spa. They only have Turkish hamam, sauna, and steam bath. There was no pool or spa.

    6VladimirPosted on: 9-18-2023

Very uncomfortable bed with lots of Turkish channels on the TV surrounded by construction works

Far away from a 5-star hotel. Usually, when you arrive at a hotel at this level, the hotel staff park your car. Even 3 star hotels have better mattresses. When you turn on the TV, you have the feeling that you are in Turkey, not in Macedonia. Breakfast very average.

    7NicolaPosted on: 9-17-2023

The hotel staff and rooms were lovely.

There is a lot of building works going in around the hotel. All the pavements were dug up.

THE WHOLE HOTEL HAS A STRANGE SMELL, SPECIALLY THE ROOM . NON SMOKING REGULATION IS NOT RESPECTED.

    8DavePosted on: 9-15-2023

Very nice staff, rooms are modern and clean, breakfast also good. Secure underground parking a huge plus.

    9RoelPosted on: 9-14-2023

Very big rooms with comfortable bed. An excellent and copious breakfast in the top floor restaurant with views of the mountain and cross that tower above Skopje.

The airconditioning was bit nervous when set to auto. It would flip off and on continually. The walk into town is longer because of construction around the hotel. This is not the hotel's fault and will be solved when the construction is finished.

    - Good & welcoming staff - clean rooms

    - location wise bit out of the center

    5IvanaPosted on: 9-11-2023

The rooms are spacious and clean

The breakfast is bad. Should have more variety and as this hotel is 5 star and it should have a waiter to serve you at least a coffee or tea. They have a coffee machine at the buffet but coffee is bad quality. For the 5 star hotel they should provide bellboy who would carry luggage and get a tip for that. There is some kind of bellboy which would expect from you to handle him the luggage (Have been travel all around the world never seen something like this)
