Pros +

  • The view and location were spectacular. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was exceptional.Since we had a complaint regarding our room, the receptionist immediately upgraded our room to a suite!
  • Beautiful location.
  • The house dates back to the early nineteenhundreds, sitting on a prime spot above the Kvarner.Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place features a Michelin-stared restaurant, the kitchen is truly superb. Lovely pool.Perfect breakfast, high-quality ingredients only.

Cons -

  • The room we originally booked was overrun with ladybugs, however after a complaint, we got another room.Restaurant, although good, is pretty pricey (with a cover charge).
  • The terrace was shared and not private. The bed was not comfortable and was not even on one side. Terrace deck had an infestation of large ants that came into our bed at night. Also, the exit sign is very bright in the dark and we had to cover it.
  • - Expected more spectaculous food in the restaurant since it had michelin star before.. - swimming pool could be cleaner..

Adorable hotel with beautiful view. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Great breakfast spread and very quiet for sleeping. The town of Lovran is not too far by car and has a great seaside walkway as well as some dining/shopping.

Fabulous view coupled with fantastic food at the restaurant! Couldn’t have asked for a better meal in the area. Staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful!

Although adequate, for the price, the room seems a bit cheaply furnished with mostly IKEA furniture. The shower area appeared to have some mold and could be cleaner. There’s certainly a disconnect between the quality of the restaurant and the room that goes with it.

Loved the excluded location away from town. Very comfortable rooms. Great views. Excellent breakfast.

I loved the hotel but do have a minor comment about the restaurant: I eat a lot in fine dining (so yes I know what three GM hats means) restaurants all over Europe and I thought for the quality the price of the restaurant was a little bit on the expensive side.

Stunning location and amazing rooms! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant was wonderful! Close to beautiful hiking and the views were incredible!

10IngridPosted on: 5-11-2024

Great location for hikers. Very nice restaurant in the hotel. Renovated with a lot of taste.

Far away from the sea side. Up in the hlll. No bars or grocery stores nearby.

Magnificent view over the enchanted bay. Excellent service. Staff help was beyond expectations and we've found listening ears to our needs. The Michelin restaurant's concept was interesting and tasty.

A bit far from city center and uncomfortable driving there and back, although it was through a very beautiful way.Lack of elevators, although we've got help with the luggage.

Absolutely stunning location - worth every serpentine. They served beautiful breakfast - everything was super fresh and tasty.

Room was a bit dated - bathroom needs a touch up!

9CalinPosted on: 8-31-2023

The entire floor Suite and the view were perfect. Sauna, Jacuzzi and fireplace were amazing!

No standard options to have the dinner, besides the Michelin star option.
