Pros +
- We loved the location - beautiful mountains all around.
- The outside hot tub and garden were lovely.
- I had my son's bday on valentines day. The staff made it extra special. He is allergic to nuts and they were so good with us . I am also lactose intolerant and even at the meal they helped me find lovely alternatives. They even gave my diary free milk for the room.
Cons -
- It seemed dated. The bar staff was not very friendly. Most of the people were older.
- The bed was hard.
- As long as us (Americans) can understand that "slow" service is just the European norm, all will be fine

The views are nice, location is nice, staff are nice
TV very small in the room,The rooms are very old fashioned and outdated,The beds are so/so in terms of comfort, feels overpriced compared to other hotels
Very friendly staff, delicious food.
Traffic noise kept me awake during the night
Amazing staff, friendly polite, food Amazing. Beautiful decorating throughout the hotel. Cocktails served beautiful
The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was comfortable with lots of quiet areas to relax. The leisure facilities were great also, especially the outdoor hot tub.
Had a fantastic time room was beautiful and loads of space for 4 adults large bathroom stayed in room 402
Nothing it was an excellent stay food was beautiful only downside 2 hours music would have liked longer
The triple room was a good size, plenty of space in it!
The beds were clean but very poorly dressed, sheets wernt tucked in and kept slipping off the mattress.
Everything from start to finish was exceptional, from the open fire at reception to the staff to lovely big bedroom and en-suite to the food, just amazing!
Nothing to dislike!
A good range of breakfast options. Prompt service and courteous and cheerful staff both for serving food and drinks and at reception. Plenty of parking and easy to find when travelling from the M1 motorway. Good quality free WIFI
Room numbering was a bit random and directions to my room could be clearer. Room numbers (in lobby above gym/pool) should be in accordance with floor and signs didn't list all the rooms on a given floor. Traffic noise at certain times.
Lovely venue, fabulous food, friendly and accommodating staff. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool but will definitely stay again and use.
Breakfast not included although can be purchased on site. We opted for a lunch in the secret garden. It was amazing and really good value.
Everything was perfect beautiful warm fire and staff we very friendly
We went to the concert maybe after concert to put a dj on in big hall.as the bar is to busy and hard to get a seat
Rooms were clean
-had to go under a tunnel to get to the room and it smelled very badly of manure - food was not great , tasted very processed
Very comfortable and clean
Food was not appealing, but good curry places nearby.
Staff friendly, food great, drink cheap
Rooms a bit all over the place
I was very dissapointed when i went to the readturant ..the carpet was dirty at th table I sat . Crumbs and food on th carpet . The food itself was not upto satisfaction . I ordered garlic mushrooms and sea bass fr my main course ..very disapointed . My window in the room was coated ..left me feeling very claustrophobic. Not a nyc experience intotal .Will not be going again . Not worth experience for the price . The price didnot include breakfast either ..
The gardens, how friendly the staff were, the food.. just an overall great experience. Will definitely be back
The Spa area and treatment...
I was very dissatisfied with the Waitress staff on two separate occasions. First at evening meal, where I ordered Gravy on the side and it came all over my dinner. Also ordered Ice cream for dessert, but this also arrived with a large blob of cream I didn't want.At dinner on evening two. The waitress placed my gravy boat down on table and then moved it with her thumb on open spout. Very unhygienic. She also yawned loudly while I ordered a drink from her. I have limited capacity for food and find it extremely annoying when I don't get what I I have ordered. Too much is just as bad as too little. Please advise your staff to LISTEN.Having to compose an email for feedback is also time consuming and frustrating.I had to reactivate my room key at reception after using the Spa area. This was both inconvenient and embarrassing as I was in my robe and Slippers. The location of Spa is not ideal when one is staying in Hotel. I was booked and paid up on check-in for two nights so didn't understand why my key card had to be reactivated after one night.......
