    Pros +

    • The location. The room was very modern and clean.
    • Excellent location in the pedestrian center of Lourmarin. Free car parking 5 minutes away. Room was on the small size. Similar to hotel rooms in Paris. No bed stands on each side of the bed. Shower was roomy for a French hotel. No breakfast but hotel provides vouchers for a nearby cafe. Not a hotel with a reception counter. To get into the building you use a keypad code at the front door.
    • The location. Complementary bottle of wine and Boucher for breakfast.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast was up the street. A not so friendly guy gave us A croissant each, tea or small bottled juice.Additionally we could have a half of a baguette with either thin ham or Jam. This was not exactly what we think of as breakfast is included. We have had wonderful full buffet meals other places.
    • Room very small. No closest or drawers. Nowhere to hang clothes. Just a couple of hangers and a peg.
    • There was not a comfortable space for me to work on my computer.I prefer to stay in accommodations with a more personal feel, ideally meeting and creating a connection with the host.

Room 2 is very large and comfortable. Great shower, but bathroom very dark. Appreciated the wine and coffee in the room. Wifi was very weak.

    Fabulously located.

I tried for over a month to reach the person who ran the place. Left myriads of messages requesting that she call me back. She never did. Once there, tried to go through the cafe that served us breakfast (a poor one, at that) to teach her but was never able. In the site, claimed that she would call back. I find her behavior dishonest and disrespectful of clients. I hope that my review will encourage people to not go there, until she has called me and apologized for the unprofessional manner. She has myriads of messages from me and therefore has the means to do so.

Well located and a charming building. Happy our room was in the first floor. Lovely to get a bottle of wine. Comfortable and had everything we needed.

Odd feature of the toilet was a sensor light that went in incessantly even in the night. Very few power outlets, typical in a building of this era. Also call my old fashioned but it is nice to have at least one beside table.

The room was very charming, cozy and spatious.

The wifi didn’t work in the room. We had to approach the staircasenpf the property to get connectivity.

The room was huge and the decor was lovely. Great view of the village from the two French windows. Within walking distance to all sites we wanted to visit.

While the French windows were beautiful, and gave us a great view, at night it was an issue. They are single pane windows, and even with the shutters closed, the bar across the street had folks on their street side patio until the early hours, so we heard every conversation, very clearly. Unfortunate because the room was by far the best accommodation we had over the course of our 10 day trip.

Loved the location and our suite. Opening the windows, looking out over the cobblestone streets, cafes, people was such a treat.

The lighting in the main room. Could use some dimmable lamps with filtering shades.

The room had charm, beautiful materials used in the bathroom, it was clean.

Our room was too small to be comfortable, no room to put suitcase, bathroom was beautiful but no space yo put essentials. It was very difficult to find even with gps maps. A neighboring bar employee was kind to help us contact the owner for the code to get in and nighttime was noisy from the street noise and church bells all night even with earplugs.

All four rooms were spectacular and so nicely decorated. The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the center of town! The roomsHad everything and lore that we needed for a comfortable stay!! Very easy to communicate with the owner.

    Loved everything!!

Overall a lovely stay - we originally had room 3 which is one of the small rooms (room 1 is the other) and really struggled with the room set up - basically no storage, no where to put bags, fridge on the floor, just a very hard room for 2 people to stay in. The Bed and Shower were great. We then asked to more to a larger room and moved to The Grand Salon (room 2) which was absolutely lovely, great views down the main street, super shower and a completely different experience from the other room. Great bed, super clean - again some silly little things (why is the Fridge on the floor?) but a nice stay in a pretty village. Would recommend for Room 2, but not for the small rooms.

Communication with the owner got better (best in French on Text message) but I never got answers for some questions that I asked via the booking portal. Finding the entrance door is a challenge (its ///greases.skew.litters) just to the left as you walk up Rue du Grande Pre from the 'square'. I never got an answer about parking but there is plenty in the small town - we used the area near ///calming.resubmit.autumns which usually has spaces but NOT on FRIDAYS when the brilliant market takes place. Breakfast is taken at the Comptoir restaurant (///jolly.coyness.locating).

The room was very beautiful, superbly well appointed, very spacious. High-quality fittings and furnishings.Very comfortable bed, fantastic shower area and bathtub. Lovely products available.Super central location in lovely Lourmarin. Breakfast served at a café nearby; good, if limited in choices. We didn't see the owner but received detailed instructions by text message.Free parking close by.

Being in the centre of the village, it was noisy till late (close to 2am).

comfortable beds and pillows, complimentary welcome beverages in room were greatly appreciated.

small room. NO onsite staff. designated contact individual did not answer text messages, neither before nor during stay. TV quite difficult to use, and no instructions provided (despite having been requested). confirmed advance room requests --- extra towels, pillows -- ignored. no onsite parking. rudimentary, small breakfast provided (OFFsite). NO ELEVATOR! Was not clear before arrival that facilty had community kitchen available for guest use. Although front door had security entrance keypad, it was NEVER required, as door was ALWAYS AJAR/OPEN!

Well-located in walking access to Lourmarin's lively centre. Breakfast was at nearby cafe/restaurant.

    7JohnPosted on: 6-29-2024

Excellent location, right in the heart of Lourmarin. The apartment was clean and well stocked.

The parking information was misleading (stated free parking was available, without saying that it was only at the free lots higher up the hill from the location). Additionally, a washer/dryer was listed as an amenity, so we started a load of laundry in the wash. However, when I went to dry the clothes, the dryer did not have any power. I attempted to troubleshoot myself, with no success, and then reached out to the staff via the Booking.com app. They never replied to me. We hang-dried the clothes and left the next day, without acknowledgement of the issue or any further communication. Loved the place, very disappointed with communication.
