Hotel Bastide & SPA - Villa de Lourmarin

This is a lovely property right at the edge of the village. It has a lovely pool, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was well furnished with decent towels, bathrobes and shampoo and conditioner.There’s an espresso maker in the room and a fridge with paid and unpaid beverages. The staff were all very pleasant and responsive to any needs.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the season other than breakfast in the morning which we didn’t have. I sort of knew that but the dates of closure were not clear on the website. Be clear that there are many good restaurants a stones throw away so this was not very problematic.

The pool, the spa and the quiet atmosphere

We got massages it was super good. The food at the restaurant, good choice for me as a vegetarian. Cleaned and cozy place, will stay again.

Everything was good

The hotel was within walking distance to town and no issues with parking .

The breakfast staff could have been more attentive . I had to ask for the croissant basket , eggs and other products to be replenished. Also the hotel is situated at a busy intersection. The noise of car traffic can be an issue at times . All in all it was a wonderfulStay even though we did not take advantage of the nice pool and spa.

Great room with view over the pool. Short walk to all the restaurants and boutiques Lourmarin is a gem.

Property beautifully landscaped, rooms modern, new and clean, location perfect for walking to town, ample parking and secure. i would recommend this place as a home base to explore Provence towns.

What a beautiful hotel….. great location and facilities, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast and our dinner and cocktails were fantastic.

We should have stayed longer.

A great small hotel, super friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room that was very clean really loved the laid back feel of the place. Great pool area that never got too busy, nice breakfast, hame it didn’t do dinner! Amazing just to walk 800m to the town with lots of good restaurants to visit. We didn’t want to leave but will definitely be back next year!

The fact that the hotel was in the centre of Lourmarin.

The room was very small, the beds narrow and there was a curtain across the bathroom for privacy. The terrace was small and had a hedge very close to the window making the room dark and claustrophobic. We stayed one night instead of three and moved. The manager who was friendly and on the whole sympathetic refused to accept our request for a small reimbursement saying booking.com's charges take a lot of the profit. We left anyway. So not a huge success.

This was our second stay here. We love the facilities and friendly staff. The location can’t be beat!

Nice big room and terrace. Nice pool. On site breakfast. Proximate to village and to other day activities in the region. Good parking

Soa amenities weren’t great. Each sauna session was charged and only worked until 7pm and required prior booking. Staff could be more equipped with recommendations for the village and region.

no curtain on the window in front of the bed, but a small metallic curtain that leaves the light enter. as a result we were awaken at 6 am.......

Lovely swimming pool, fair sized room, excellent breakfast

We upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous, there was a mezzanine with twin beds (which we didn't need) and a sofa and TV. The 'main' area downstairs had a big double bed, lovely bath/shower room and best of all a private terrace with sun loungers. We really enjoyed the luxury. The swimming pool area was very pretty and stylish.
