Pros +
- I liked the fact that everything was designed with children in mind. The children were delighted. I liked the food, although the selection was limited, but there was always something suitable for both adults and children. I also appreciated that the hotel was located within an hour's walk from beautiful scenery, making it accessible to children. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The outside area was very interesting for kids and their parents, with all animals, really cool playground, racing bicycles etc.
- What to say? Incredible hotel and an absolute dream for our 3 daughters (and us of course). The staff, the food, the games, the facilities! Everything was the best possible!
- Amazing hotel to visit with young kids, they’ve really thought of everything to entertain them (and give parents a break), our daughter loved it. Beautiful location with amazing views of the valley and mountains.
Cons -
- The furniture in the rooms is a bit old and unpleasant. There was also a lack of cleanliness, possibly due to the old furniture or the large number of flies in the room when we first checked in. We opened the windows and drove the flies away, but we occasionally found dead flies in the corners, which was not very pleasant considering that the children mostly played on the floor.
- It only lasted 3 days.. i am kidding! Of course nothing negative!
- The rooms. You should not be charging outrageous chf 1200 per night for something that is old, broken, shower needs a redo, balcony door will not close properly, leaking bathtub (through a strange glass looking into the room.. whole thing there felt unnecessary). We had a family room, with two parts. I will say that while the beds were comfy and clean, and the view stunning, one would hope that a bit of effort would be put into a much needed new carpet, furniture that does not look like it’s from some hostel, into fixing broken things, maybe a working kettle. Had to ask for a new baby bed too because the first one was broken and completely unstable - should not have been there in the first place. Food was OK but nothing amazing either. Also, the fact that one is being asked to pay chf 30 for room service (read: service for the food you would be served at dinner anyway to be brought to your room) is a bit shocking considering how much you spend for your stay. You can pick it up for free which is what we did. I get that there is a lot included in the price like childcare (did not use it so cannot judge) but we have been to lots of other places in CH - the rooms simply need a full re-do to justify the cost.

Amazing hotel to visit with young kids, they’ve really thought of everything to entertain them (and give parents a break), our daughter loved it. Beautiful location with amazing views of the valley and mountains.
The location and outside amenities for kids (playground, go carts, tennis court, lamas, goats, bunnies, pirate ship) are lovely, staff at the reception, bar, restaurant very helpful and attentive. Loved the pinocchio water fountain outside. Also the pool was good and clean and kids loved it. Lots of little details for kids around too, like the slide or the inner kugelbahn, and cool kids program such as walking with the lamas.

exceptional friendly staff , beautiful location and offers for kids
it is very expensive
The location is great. The playground for the kids is nice.
The food was bad. Especially the dinner. The look and feel of the hotel is not good. Everything feels outdated. The level of service from the staff is disappointing. We did not feel very welcome and felt treated differently because we did not speak German.
Amazing location and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were very kind and accommodating.
I think we missed out on quite a bit, including daily activities for the kids, because everything in the hotel is posted/written only in German. Ultimately, I didn’t feel very welcome. Normally I wouldn’t complain about such a thing because after all the hotel is in the German-speaking sector. But tourism, including from within Switzerland, is such an important part of the local economy, I would imagine that they would want to make all guests feel welcome and encouraged to return.
Charming with lots of activities for kids
Need a small revamp
Amazing trip. The level of effort the staff and owners go to , to ensure such a welcoming stay is incredible. Different activities and menus daily. The best family friendly hotel we've ever stayed in. We'll be back.
A great and calm place to spend with Kids
We enjoyed all the children’s activities. The staff was fantastic!
