Hotel Garden

A fantastic, pet-friendly stay at this hotel. The owner and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which was the highlight of this trip. My big dog was treated like a valued guest (€5/day), thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff and on top of that allowing to bring her to breakfast and reserving a table for us on the terrace.The continental breakfast was excellent.The hotel is in a great, central location, just a three-minute walk to the beaches and dog beaches, in a quiet area. The convenient on-site parking for a small fee is also appreciated. Despite the small size of the room, the large, lovely terrace provided an extended space. We were able to make the room work and create a cozy spot for her dog bed. Everything was perfect!

Stayed at the hotel for a conference and it worked very well. The room was small but had everything I needed and was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good (Lignano food is generally bad so this was a very positive point).

The only critique I have is that there wasn't really much space to sit at the desk but I'm guessing this is only a problem if you need to work during the time that you are traveling which isn't the case for most people.

bad smell of mold in our room, not clean enough; wasn’t expecting that the kids would have a loft bed instead of normal beds, didn’t feel secure because of negligibly short protection bars on upper bed.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4 (two adults and two babies) The room was on the small side but clean and met our requirements for a single night stay, but would not have been suitable for us for stays longer than 2 or 3 nights due to the small size. The bathroom was clean and spacious, so was the balcony.The continental style breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of pastries, breads and cakes, all freshly made.The location is very good, just a few minutes walk away from Ufficio 19 and especially Ufficio 17 and 18, which are probably the best areas for small children by the sea side in Lignano. Also a few minutes walk from Parco Junior. Staff was welcoming and polite. I made use of the free car park space in front of the hotel, which was very handy indeed, particularly as in Lignano car parks are at a premium and very expensive.

Prices in Lignano are very high for this time of the year, perhaps too high for what you get. However, it must be said this hotel was not overpriced if compared to other hotels in the area. Always book well in advance to get the best prices (not like us!)

Way too pricy for such a small room, doors are super old and thin and you'll hear everything from 7 am, people smashing doors, walking or talking.

Good location and breakfast.

Room equipment quite used. The balcony door were difficult to close what was occasionally disconnectung aircon.
