Hotel Helvetia

Food was delicious, we have enjoyed the full board. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Free parking on the hotel parking lot and free admission to beach with beds and umbrella.

Only "issue" was with hot water pressure in the shower, It was really weak.

Unfortunately, I expected much more from a 4-star property. The place feels like a dusted-off relic from the '90s, with various outdated features and visible shortcomings: rusty air conditioning and mold in the bathroom. Additionally, our room was not cleaned properly, as seen in the photos, and we even found underwear from previous guests under the bed, which clearly indicates that the cleaning service only does a superficial job. Moreover, the walls are so thin that you can hear everything—neighbor conversations, door slamming, etc. It's okay for 1-2 nights, but not for longer.

The food is good, staff was friendly.

The breakfast was the same every morning, you don’t no what are you eating, because it’s not write over the plates.The lunch and diner very poor and not fresh every time. The pool water was very cold on always. The jacuzzi didn’t work, and because was on the roof, was always sun, and they don’t have umbrellas, you can’t stay their. And the old, who works their, on the reception, was very angry always, whiteout a reason. He told us we need do ask on the reception if we can use the jacuzzi, even if we didn’t started, we just use it like a normal pool, with our little girl, and near the jacuzzi write that everyone can use the jacuzzi. After this, he was on the reception and we gave him the keys from the bikes, and he told us very angry that we need to lock the bikes. My husband told him that we already closed them. So the point is he don’t even asked us nicely, he just speaks to us very angry every time he saw us. One more important thing, it’s that if you booked just the breakfast, you don’t have a table, you need to stay on different tables every morning, and nobody helps you with nothing. The shower from our room, didn’t worked.We didn’t have the welcome drinks.You can hear everything over the other room( poor walls)

Nice service, good food and clean!

Some food in the aperitivo were served cold when they should be served warm, all the fried finger food for example.

Nice people speaking english, clean rooms and whole hotel felt very clean. Towels were changed every day. Comfy beds, rooms big enough, functional air conditioning, free bike rents, delicious food with many options. Very good value for the money.

Leaking shower in our bathroom, so we had to clean the floor after each use. When someone walked through the hall, we could hear every word in our room. Cold water in pool. Everything else was perfect.

Staff was kind … breakfast was reasonably great and the walk to the beach was surprisingly not as far as it seemed from hotel. Good central spot for places to eat shop and gelato.

No major issues

Everything was as described in the booking.com. However, in Northern European terms it is 3 star hotel, not 4 star. But I understood it already beforehand, so no surprises and good value for the money! There was the pool, good breakfast, additional services like free bicycle rent, car parking, free admission to beach with beds and umbrella!

The walls between the rooms were not isolated very good, so we could hear, when the neighbours got awaike and started their morning rituals/conversations with the sun…

The location of the property is great, the breakfast food was delicious. Also very happy about bikes that we used and that they were included in the price.

Everything was good.

Localization is very good for beach activities and everything diners.

Quite old and shouldn’t be rated as 4 stars hotel.It’s more like 2-3stars.Uncomfortable beds. Breakfast weren’t good at all, even coffee (famous in Italy) was quite poor.

All in all very good Hotel with:• clean rooms• good breakfast• nice staff• free bikes (depends on availability for up to three hours)• free parking (also depends on availability). There’s also parking on the street in front of the hotel that is in a free zone• a pool that according to other reviews it’s quite cold – I’d say it’s refreshing, but that’s due to the location which is in the shade in the afternoon)• close to nearby places. We didn’t take the car for our whole stay. Try to get a bike and you can get everywhere even faster

- Bikes with child bike seat is also a nice benefit of the hotel- The hotel is 8-10 minutes from the beach which might sound as far but in fact it is just 600m.

The photos of the hotel rooms are not quite true. Location, Cleanliness, delicious food

Unfortunately, the behaviour and disrespect of one of the night porters spoiled the experience, but apart from him all the staff were very nice.

The room was very nice, except the balcony was so small. We were probably in one of 4-6 rooms that were given the smallest balcony.

The staff in the kitchen. One guy was so rude because he didn’t know how to speak english. That is basic.
