Hotel Elvia

The hotel was fine. The room was a bit small, but for 2 nights it was manageable. There was enough room for clothes even for a longer trip. There was a balcony, which is great, and enough room in the bathroom. The beds were ok (not the best, not the worst). The staff was great and the breakfasts were tasty, so no complaints from our side. We also could pay for the parking (8 euros per day, they didn't charge on the day of departure), which was great, since parking in Lignano can be a mess. The location was the best part, just a few minute walk from the downtown, but still in a quiet location. Loved it.

Maybe the lack of space in the room was a bit annoying (the balcony door was hitting the bed). Also, maybe a weird one, but the lamp in the bathroom beneath the mirror was so hot, as if one was sitting on the sun, but It's just a minor discomfort.

Good location, near to the center with shops and restaurants. Beach is also not far and there is a big SPAR supermarket. Very clean and friendly staff.Breakfast was ok with enough choice.

The double bed was a bit old

Very nice room and bathroom, very clean. Good location close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. Balcony was nice too.

Understandable as it is a beach town, but a bit of sand on the floors in the room and balcony, but to be expected somewhat.

no hotel parking for cars larger than ordinary passenger cars

Excellent location, 100 m away from the center (main commercial area / restaurants/bars). and 200 m from the beach. There is also a big InterSpar next to it. Car parking is located 300 m away but it is a covered parking which is great in the summer. Air conditioning worked well (it was essential). Breakfast is ok, same all days but fresh and tasty.Staff is friendly and hepful.

The triple room was a little bit small, but indeed we had 3 suitcases which took a lot of space.

The personnal is perfect : professionnal, helpful, really friendly. Could not be better

Limited parking at the hotel. But parking available nearby (5 minute walk).

Good and clean rooms for a good price in the heart of Lignano, 5 min from the sea front. Lovely attentive staff. Bikes for free. There was also a good choice of food at the breakfast buffet. Dog friendly hotel, very sweet. Never heard any dog bark. It’s a quiet hotel. Rooms get properly cleaned every day, which is great because you would end up with sand everywhere otherwise. It’s a very relaxed, clean and honest place- what you see is what you get. For us who stayed on the beach all day this was more than enough. Not luxury, no frills however a great simple choice for a beach holiday.
