Hotel American

Good location across from the beach, rooms with side sea view (standard type) from balcony. Cheaper than other hotels in area and has its own pool.

Property is very dated and needs a refurb. Some staff are brilliant and lovely and some are rude and unhelpful. The property manager is brilliant and an absolute one man show - moving cars (car park very crowded and things need reshuffling if you need access to your car) fixing showers, telephones in rooms, taking care of pool maintenance, the list goes on. The breakfast is good, but not great, some more variety from day to day would help. Elevator servicing 10 floors is difficult to catch at peak times.

Location, room amenities, service overall, very good breakfast and very positive and supportive staff.Very nice playground for children.First line before the sea. Really 2 minutes to get to the sea.Nice car parking at venue.Good pool in the hotel.Overall - an amazing family experience.

Half board option with dinner is too expensive and therefore doesn't make sense.Wifi was not very reliable.Even though rooms are very nice and clean it seems like renovation was done many years ago.

Great welcoming and very nice rooms, it is not a designhotel, but it offers all what u would expect from a 4 star hotel. All clean, friendly team and top location for enjoyment at the beach. Thank u and keep up the good work!

We liked the location and free parking option

Housekeeping entered our room before knocking while we were sleeping and woke us up. She entered the room before check out time. It was quite unpleasant. The breakfast variations are pretty poor and breakfast was cold. Its a good option only to spend a night there but for longer stay its quite unpleasant. The bed mattresses are terrible, we woke up with back pain. Hotel definetly needs some love.

The staff members were polite.

To start up, the pictures do not reflect the reality. The furniture is deprecated, the bathroom is filled with rost, the blanket from the closet had a weird smell.

Amazing location ….just a few steps away from the beach. Excellent parking facility. The staff very polite and friendly, sometimes went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Location was super convenient. It was walking distance to the beach, nice restaurants and bars!

There was only one elevator in the entire hotel.

Cleanliness, front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good but the coffee was weak.

Nice personal, clean, right at the beach, free bicykles for use, very good breakfast.

It was very close to the beach and the view wasn’t bad at all. We requested extra towels and they were in the room before we even checked in. The bar made great drinks and the overall staff was delightful.

There are minor inconveniences. Our room phone didn’t work, the door to the balcony wouldn’t stay closed. The corner windows were like a puzzle. One would only open if the other wasn’t in the way. The lobby and the restaurant were clean but everything else seemed... dusty? I’ll give the benefit of the doubt due to the beach being right across the street. We knew there was complimentary WiFi but it required a password. And because of the phones not working I had to go downstairs and get it. Not a big deal but just minor inconveniences
