    Cons -

    • The level of the hotel is not the same I experienced years ago. it looks degraded. I was in need for a wheelchair for my wife, no way. This is very strange thing
    • Some equipment was old and damaged such as the hair dryer with exposed electrical wires. Need more decor in hallways such as green plants. Too bare.
    • Very old hotel and old facilities

The pools are good still, with a nice temperature, but the jets are no longer working and the whole area is becoming decidedly shabby and in need of urgent renovation

The rooms are OK, but we were right in the roof with a tiny dorma window looking out on nothing which is a disappointment when there were only 15 people in the hotel and we could have been given a much nicer room.

I had a low cost room, mountain view (5 meters) at maison Blanche. 3 free Hotel pools are ok, not spectacular, but discount for Alpentherme just aside, which has plenty of facilities and offers. Everything a little old. Safe inoperational. Good breakfast, friendly service by foreign employees who do not all speak French or German. Overall very much worth the price !

Perfect location, lovely little town with enough restaurants and bars. Hotel lovely and spacious. Friendly staff. Great choice at breakfast. Lovely spa pools, sauna and hamam. Comfortable bed. Clean. The bar/lounge area has a huge drop down screen where movies were shown, great for the kids. Locker room for skis and boots as well as one for your luggage. On Thursday there was a carnival, very festive with a band.

We stayed at the hotel three years ago and already then we could see it needed some maintenance. Carpets are worn. The room furniture is quite worn. Bathroom is old, slight mildew on one of the corners above the bath which seems to have been painted over. Spa pools whilst lovely need loads of attention, build up of residue from water on all tiles. Tiles falling off on side wall of steps into outside pool, could be hazardous to children. There was a strong smell at the entrance of this pool. Grotto pool not completely functional and ceiling at entrance is open with wires and plugs exposed. Other inside pool not completely functional. Sadly restaurant closed in the evening. One can bring in food from restaurants and either eat in your room or reception area. A suggestion would be to be able to eat in the bar/lounge area which is very spacious.

Great breakfast, nice staff & good location

Thermal baths, although included in the price, should be renovated as seemed old & not very good taken care of :/ a lot of chalk & dirt around the bathing area

The swimming pools are amazing. The kids also enjoyed the variety at breakfast. Also, we enjoyed the proximity to the Torrent cablecars.

The rooms could do with an upgrade. Also, it would be nice for families to be able to have communicating rooms.

The location was superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very central to Leukerbad. Easy walking distance of everywhere. The breakfasts were great too, and once in the spa, the baths very relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

Very dated, desperately in need of a facelift - we went back in time, the hotel felt worn out. Very 70’s feel with the decor. The rooms were worn and tired too with dated bashed furniture, but the beds were comfortable. The interior pool spa needs a facelift too, the jets didn’t work and it just felt like it could be superb with a vision. Outside spa tiles were missing and although the waters and view are great it needed a refresh, the clock ironically had stopped working, maybe in the 1970’s too. The sauna was nice, but I was surprised people kept coming in to dry off after the shower? There was also no emergency stop or timer so you had no idea how long you were in.

Classy hotel with old-school charm. Family-friendly. Friendly, helpful staff and good customer service. Great breakfast. Good value thanks to in-house thermal baths. Stunning location.

    Location

No kids below 8 are allowed in the thermal bad, hotel pool has only 2 functioning showers of 8 showers, very complicated to navigate to spa and massage areas and out of order lifts … and more …

The hotel facilities are not nearly as bad as some of the reviews. We liked our room fine and the breakfast is nice. That said, they post all the pictures and even list the spa and sauna facilities as part of the package (after booking you get an email detailing what is extra and what is part of the hotel fee). It feels a bit scam-y. I loved the sauna facilities but the only advantage you get is a 15% discount to the pool (not the spa) so you could easily stay somewhere else and jsut pay to use the services. It wasn't that bad, but I won't be back.
