Great position

Having to exit the building to go have breakfast. Unpleasant smell in the bathroom, very overwhelming (we had to open the windows).

- Staff wasn’t really nice : they seem unhappy to be working- We had to change rooms 2 times : 1. The service to call the reception wasn’t working at all when we had a tv problem, which every room had. 2. We changed once and arrived in a room smelling like sewers that had marinated for weeks. 3. We finally could change the room but, as if it was my fault, the staff at the reception seemed irritated about my complaints : it is YOUR hotel, you have to deal about it and i am NOT the only one to say that. - The restaurant was really expensive and the service was nice but stressed like they were on a schedule when no one else was in the restaurant except us. - For the price that i paid, i expected more than that, especially a tv that worked and didn’t need a master to make it work

The hotel is wonderfully located in town- with a beautiful surrounding. It is very easy to arrive from the bus station and get to many activities and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was great each morning.

The facilities and rooms would greatly benefit from updating. The thermal baths are impressive and refreshing to visit. But you can tell it has been a while since they have been restored. And the hotel rooms are hit or miss from a quality perspective.

It is rather a 3 star hotel. Rooms are quite small, and although the rooms were recently renovated, the corridors and elevator looked a bit outdated. There was as well an unpleasant smell coming from bathroom. Parking is not far away but to get there by car you need to circle half of the village ( however to get to and from parking as pedestrian is simple and quite fast 5 min)

The stuff was super helpful and friendly. Location and breakfast were very nice too.

Room was cosy, but very outdated furniture and the door on the bathroom didn't close unless one gives it a good push, and they paint was going off in places.Also the smell of smoked through carpets in the hallway was unbearable.

The room was fine, nice view over the town, warm, comfy beds.Great central location.Pools, sauna & steamroom were good, but in need of renovation.

Entry/check-in to the hotel was unclear as it was necessary to go to another hotel for this. Others have commented on this so it's time to update Booking.com's entry to explain.Bathroom is run down, dirty in places and the door was broken (room 405).No tea & coffee making facilities. Most of the TV channels didn't work.The corridor outside the room stank of cigarettes.

The area was great and the beds were clean.

The toilet was stinking in our room.

I loved the location, the staff and the use of the swimming pools available from 7 am to 10 pm.The coffee at the breakfast was great.

The Hotel spa facilities were closed. The swimming pools need maintenance and cleaning. Some changing facilities doors were not closing properly and there was no soap in a shower. Even the clocks were not working in the swimming pools! It is not clear when booking if the Thermal Baths entrance is included in the price. at reception I was given an offer of paying half price for the entrance in the booking. It was saying that entrance to the thermal bath was free. By the way, the spa facilities were not working in the paying baths either.Breakfast is quite limited for a 4 star hotel. Considering all this, I think the price is expensive for the facilities offered. When I checked in my room, there was a curtain pole which fell, curtains included! I put it back and went to reception to tell them that the curtain pole was sick but it was not me who broke it.

The hotel was in a great location- centrally located and easy to walk to from the bus station. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel each morning and the thermal bath facilities in the hotel were wonderful- very relaxing and accessible for families.

Some of the facilities could use some renovation and are a bit old but this did not really detract from our enjoyment of our time there. The staff were also a mix of friendly and helpful resources and unhelpful individuals. Also, I strongly recommend booking reservations for dinner in advance in the town (including if you want to eat at the hotel restaurant).

Given the value for money, the price of the room was too high. This hotel has nothing of a 4-star hotel. The hotel is old and not maintained. No slippers for the spa. Hotel spa not maintained (Walliser Therme as well). Some of the showers not working at the hotel spa and no electricity.

My wife and I were there for the pools and some hiking on this trip. I stayed in this hotel in September. I must have been sufficiently satisfied to return. Nothing in particular stood out for the good on this trip.

We stayed in the room right next to the one I had last time. This one was less nice somehow. The window rubbed the curtain rod when opening. The mattresses slipped apart. The television arm thing was kind of janky. The window in the shower is poorly resolved. It was a good trip but room 301 does not present the hotel in its best light.

The big buffet was close :(. The swimming pool in the main hotel was also close

The pool access was excellent. The staff at the pool made us feel very much at home (Diogo is his name).

Breakfast room ran out of coffee at one point. Butter was very cold….. overall quite nice though.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was very good, plenty of choice although coffee was lukewarm in the cannister, thankfully the staff provided us with fresh coffee separately. The location was perfect as we wanted to have direct access to the Alpentherme facilities.

No coffee or tea facility in the room.

The thermal baths are very nice.

Breakfast bread and croissants were stale. "Hot" breakfast food was cold. Bars not open.

Serious accident and staff completely helpless.

Real bad smell in one of the room; Glass door of the shower shattered in million pieces cutting seriously hands and feet. Apparently, the 3rd time that happened;Staff really not welcoming and no one to provide a first aid kit. In compensation (after having written to the direction) they offered us a voucher to come back one night... no thanks!
