Breakfast good location good

Room very warm little air window opening too little. Maybe a fan might have helped.

Aww it was brilliant, very central,comfy rooms staff ever so helpful and breakfast was lovely it set you up for the day, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay that we would love to go back ?

Excellent hotel, center of town, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. Super cheap, great value for money.

Remarkably, even though the hotel is in need of a lot of updating and cleaning, my room was nice and big, the bathroom was big, and everything in the room was quite clean. The room was pretty comfortable overall

The hotel is old, and is in need of some major upkeep and especially needs to be cleaned in the hallways. The smell is pretty bad in the main part of the hotel. It just smells dirty.

This hotel is in a great location, lots of places to eat right around it, but why bother when the bush hotel restaurant was fabulous. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

The room was very poor. Bed was clean Room badly needs a facelift. Bathroom taps need some maintenance. Staff were friendly. We booked at short notice and late in the evening. We got a good rate but the room overall wasn't great, it's an old style hotel and I spore that but it needs some TLC.

Staff were good and location is brilliant

It was an interesting hotel right in the center of town. Unfortunately, we could hear loud music until 11:30 at night. The restaurant was very good.

It was very noisy until midnight. If I had known, we would have stayed in a separate hotel. The room rug was ripped in two places and we found a large bolt right next to the bed so it couldn’t have been vacuumed. Also the milk in the room for morning coffee expired a month ago.

Ladies at the front desk when we arrived were very kind. Staff after that all acted irritated by our existence

Rooms were dirty & dingy. Sheets smelled like they were but fresh. Carpet was tearing. Bathtub was dirty. Mold visible in windows. No a/c. Town wasn’t welcoming. Everything was closed by 6PM. Not a lot of restaurants open for a family with children.

Excellent. We stayed at the Bush Hotel on our honeymoon and returned most years since 1971 and hopefully will return this year again.

Staff were lovely. Food was good.

The quality of the mattress was terrible. Very old. Was not able to sleep and have back pain the following day.

hotel well located on Main street, bit dated in reception area but rooms were excellent. very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast is great and good variety on offer, had Sunday dinner in the Bistro but not to the same standard as breakfast. only disappointment for us was that the main bar was closed, bar service is available in bistro but not suitable to have a quiet and lacked atmosphere. Drink however plenty of bars in the town. would recommend this hotel.

Not enough nightlife or activity more suited to older people

I really appreciated how honest they were. The day before my stay Dee from reservations/reception mentioned that they had a large group leaving the hotel the day I was checking in. She explained that my room wouldn’t be ready until closer to 4.

There was nothing the hotel could have done to prevent this but the people next door kept banging on the wall or kept slamming the door

Location, food. Room lovely

Breakfast was so slow. Had to call staff member to get our order after about 20 minutes but it still came out wrong. But was tasty. Tables not cleared. Very understaffed

It is centrally located. They provide a beautiful spacious family bedroom and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the eggs royale:) The staff were really kind and very welcoming. We will be going back again.

A great little hotel and amazing staff and food. Plus a fab location. You're right in the middle of everything.

Have stayed at the bush hotel many times haven't been there for a few years not clean as it should staff looked sad new owners I believe food average won't be back so sad to see a wonderful hotel in the past gone down hill

Spacious, clean rooms, location was brilliant and facilities very good

I would have liked a taxi to and from the hotel. I did send a message to hotel enquiring about a taxi from station. My email wasn't replied to. I simply received a standard message. The staff were unable to get me a taxi back to the station. I have a bad back and had to walk a mile in each direction with my luggage.It would be nice to have more vegetarian food options.Bathroom could do with a refurbishment.
