    Pros +

    • Proximity is superbe (close to restaurants, shopping, and beach); efficient housekeeping and concierge service; excellent breakfast (lots of varitey and super friendly staff). Enjoyed the historical setting.
    • Beautiful grand hotel
    • We enjoyed the facilities especially the bar and the La Pavilion restaurant.

    Cons -

    • The hotel infrastructure needs to be renovated. We had a prestige room, which in fact was a very ordinary size. Agree with previous comments regarding the complicated air conditioning system which does not provide relief when hot. The pool is way too small for a hotel of this size.
    • Room was a little dated and small for price
    • Minor criticism was that our room wasn't cleaned on the Friday.

Construction directly in front of the window - very loud early in the morning

    10StoakesPosted on: 3-29-2025

We thought the room and bathroom were very well fitted out - seating, wardrobe, tea and coffee making, space to store things. I brought birthday flowers and staff immediately brought me a vase and scissors. Liked the daytime snacks available from the bar. Hotel location perfect for walking everywhere in the town.

Some disappointments at breakfast. No muesli, cooked food looked unappetising.

Great location, friendly staff, very clean

    - Stunning and iconic building full of history. - 5 star service- Quiet and calm environment- Conference room was turned into a Ping Ping & Baby Foot room during the holidays which we appreciated (especially when it was raining outside)- Lovely drinks menu at the bar- Some very kind and attentive staff- Beautiful swimming pool- Petit VIP (the children loved it and wanted to return)

I will return and recommend to others. :-) Some areas to improve - Petit VIP did not follow the timetable (it would have been nice to have made Mocktails and for the children to do the Chinese themed activities)- I couldn’t get a SPA reservation at all (but I understand I didn’t book in advance)

Everything , the staff on checking in 8 separate rooms were fast and efficient, Maxine also bought a professional but humourus side to the proceedings, excellent

I think Breakfast was in a temporary function room, it was a little sanitary and the food spread out a lot, but quality great ( sorry but you french cant do baked beans !!!!! )

From the moment we pulled up in the car, the serviçe was excellent. The receptionist checking in which language she should communicate; a little birthday treat left in our room. Exceptional dinner - best Caesar salad have ever had; gorgeous toiletries, dreamy bed, and a shower that it was hard to leave… Fluffy bathrobes and slippers. It was truly a memorable stay!

It’s a very Grand Hotel, steeped in history. Aesthetically it looks incredible, and it’s situated close to all the shops and restaurants. It’s approximately a 10 minute walk to the Beach. If driving here you are met by valet parking. The staff are all very helpful and accommodating.

I thought the breakfast buffet was not worth the money. The Bar is very expensive too, although the quality is high in terms of service & nibbles with your drinks, and the area is very classy, so would suggest it’s probably worth having a drink before bed or before an evening out.

Everything , if you want to spoil your partner or just yourself this is the place. The gentleman who parked our car was extra charming and helpfull, all staff were great.Book the Restaurant early as One was closed during our stay meaning the other was full, great Restaurant right next door though.

Location is good, with 10 minute walk to beach. Good gym and nice pool. Bar and restaurant offer lots of choice.

Room is a bit small. Toilet was separate to the shower room, with no wash hand basin. Parking by valet only.

    8EricPosted on: 11-5-2024

The location is great, as is its grand style. The staff was very welcoming and dog friendly.

Everything! ALL the staff were excellent, friendly yet professional, courteous and welcoming. At check in we were greeted and shown to our room and our case was delivered within a couple of minutes. While we were checking in our car was parked for us very efficiently and without any fuss.Dinner was superb. The quality of the food, drinks and above all the service was excellent. We were pleased to have chosen this hotel for a special celebration.Check out was very smooth and our car was brought round without delay. If you are looking for a hotel in Le Touquet which values its guests and demonstrates above expected efficiency and courtesy, this is the place to stay.

    Nothing!!!

    Very expensive menus.

My king size bed for one was very uncomfortable for two of the three night stay. The third night was better as fresh linen was provided so the bed must have been made up in the correct way that day.

Superb location. Pets welcome Restaurant food was excellent .Will be back again

    10ClaudinePosted on: 10-8-2024

excellent welcoming and easy check in. Very pleasant staff. Room clean and comfortable with good facilities. Excellent breakfast service.

For a 3 days stay a room with a bigger window would have been better. We were on 4th floor with limited view. Too many dogs now at hotel.

    10AntonyPosted on: 10-6-2024

Great decor, staff, and location. Breakfast is wonderful.

The bar service could be a little more efficient when busy.

    9JonPosted on: 9-23-2024

Very nice luxury hotel with very helpful staff, and nice facilities. Very dog friendly, as allowed in breakfast room and restaurant.Good parking and wi fi.

Only slight downside was a quite large conference there, so often foyer was very busy, and one night could not get a seat in the bar for pre dinner drink.
