A friendly hotel with excellent facilities, beautiful pool , free car park , dog friendly .

Sadly , the New Years Eve Party !Too many people squashed into the dining room. Then add self service … chaotic !!! queuing for food !!!!

The staff were excellent and so friendly. Our room was a little dated and shabby but was clean and on the top floor which we requested.

Perfect place for a family and friends get away. Lucy hotel, great bar and facilities and ticked all the boxes! Loved the padel tennis which was a new sport to try and great location as we didn’t want to be right in the centre: perfect family room with a mezzanine floor which meant our teenage daughters had space as did we!

Cleaner could have been better in our room as she left old coffee cups for 2 days and didn’t change the bins or replace toilet roll but that’s minor things to complain about

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had a good size room and very comfortable big bed. Excellent walk in shower and nice towels. We enjoyed the bar and live music and had a very good meal in the Bistro restaurant. We didn't have time to use all the amenities but what we saw we liked.

The reception, bar and spa area all seemed newly refurbished. The rooms were clean and tidy although a little tired. They were in the process of upgrading the hallways, so hopefully the rooms will follow.Great location with plenty of parking and a short walk into town. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a surprise and ambiance !Great works of art! Great swimming pool and game rooms ! A ‘library’ bar with pool-billiard and delicious snacks. Don ‘t forget to order the Petit Chablis ;)

Good location. Safe parking. Good staff in hotel and bar.

The two storey room was dangerous and unsafe to go up and down as the staircase was unsteady and trembling every time we used it.

A lovely hotel

Unfortunately we had to pay a supplement for our dog, who is very well-behaved, slept in his own dog bed and left no sign of having been there at all.

Check in was unfriendly and no one to help with luggage.

My friends got a free upgrade for the same room that we had to pay a higher price for. The taxi the hotel booked for us was not a taxi but a private hire car - the driver charged us €20 for a 5 minute journey and sad that was a minimum price which the hotel failed to tell us. The shower whilst a good pressure flooded onto the floor so had to turn it right down low otherwise it would have flooded the bedroom too. Too many sugary items at breakfast - no good for diabetics.

Fantastic hotel, staff really friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean, the bed was amazing, and the spa facilities were everything you would need.

Great rooms, with one of our two rooms upgraded so we could be together. Great swimming pool. Good value restaurant with a helpful knowledgeable sommelier who made the wine selection for us.

Great location. Very nice staff, comfy beds and nice spa area. This is my second visit to the Le Grand Hotel and will visit again.

This time I was on the floor undergoing renovation so was slightly tired compared to the room I had in my previous trip.

Room and bed was comfortable

The spa has cold water in the jacuzzi and one of the sauna’s wasn’t so hot. Staff at night also weren’t very friendly

Toilet walls hadn't been cleaned, no water pressure in the toilet and no head room in the room as I could not stand up by the bed due to the sloping roof and the need to avoid hitting my head. The curtains don't fit the window properly and do not block the light out in the morning.

Perfect setting on the edge of the town. Staff are very friendly & willing to please Food exceptional !The only thing is , no mirror in the bedroom & the rooms decor was very dark . But it was in winter weather

Superb hotel, with friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. The area was an expected delight with elegant yuletide scenes.

The hotel was brilliant with really friendly staff in all areas we used, from check-in, to the bar and in the restaurent, they made you feel very welcome. The room was superb, modern, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The bar was excellent and the food in the restaurent was outstanding. We cannot wait to go back for another vist.
