Hotel Villa de Cabrales

The staff did not speak English, but were extremely friendly and we made due with phone translations. The location is absolutely perfect if you have rented a car to see many different spots in Pico De Europa. It's also right near the shuttle parking lot for the 10 minute trip to the Cares Trail. The room had an awesome view of the hillside and big beautiful windows. It was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. There is free parking as well. Arenas de Cabrales is one of the larger(although still a small town) towns near Picos de Europa and will have the most infrastructure. Breakfast was nice and worth the price.

The bed was absolutely terrible. It was super thin and I felt like I sleeping on a mat covered piece of wood. You also only got one thin pillow and it had to be balled up to get good head support. There is also no refrigerator in the room. So if you don't get a chance to eat out or get a cold water from the store, you can be left without great options and no storage. Not deal breakers as we loved our stay but keeps Villa de Cabrales from a higher score.

The rooms, at least in the annex, are spare … but what you’d expect from a 2 Star. Breakfast is a good value but the quality could be higher

Check in and out was simple and staff were very accommodating. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a great view.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain . Only It was quite hot during our stay so AC would elevate experience further more.

The room was a little austere. I kept thinking it was a convent or a rectory. Very basic, but we were only there for a night.

Simple country hotel but had everything we needed including a great location. Walked to cheese caves and ate close to hotel. Free parking underground too . Staff very friendly and helpful

Location, beautiful view of mountains, easy to walk to restaurants, 20 minute drive to the funicular to Bulnes.

Needed more pillows. Although parking is included the circular entrance is narrow, use caution or you’ll scrape your car.

The room we had was nothing like advertised and when I asked for a room as indicated in the photos on Booking & their website I was told they didn’t have them. I booked 10 months ago and did not expect a very small, bright pink room!

Great location. Clean space and free parking. The option to turn up for breakfast without prior booking the night before.

The car park access is tight. We managed with a compact SUV, but we took our sweet time parking.

The room was comfortable,clean and spacious with a little view of the mountains.

My room was at the back of the hotel and unfortunately, there was a dog that barked constantly. But I still managed to get a good night's sleep.

Great location for Picos de Europa! Cute town and facilities were comfortable.

This hotel was exceptional. My husband became ill and the very helpful reception arranged a doctor’s appointment and taxi to return us and our bicycles to Santander. So friendly and helpful

Well situated on Las Arenas main street. Comfortable bed and room.

Sound proofing between rooms was not good leading to some noise in the evening/night

The beds are short even for a short person, we got a double bed even though we had confirmation for a room with two single beds

Brilliant location for bus to Poncebos and town. Useful to have private parking. View from room was wonderful.

Shower/half bath.

Stylish and lovely hotel, very clean with beautiful and practical rooms (not too big)with everything you need in the mountains. Great valley view from French windows, reasonably quiet at night. Really loved the spacious hall downstairs with an excellent collection of Spanish travel books about the Picos de Europa.

Not much to say, but perhaps a buffet breakfast would be better not to waste some products and make sure everybody gets what they want.

Bath could have a holder for shampoo/gel bottles. The lights above the bed could have abajours, as they are very cool and direct.

No view. The window opens to another buildings wall though the pictures in bookings.com shows very scenic views. Pretty disappointed.

Location outstanding, in the middle of Arenas, minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars. Price excellent

Bed was a bit hard, but that might be a Spanish thing, as it wasn’t the only one like that on our trip ?.
